Hi Amanda, Unfortunately it is pricey and insurance does not cover it b/c it is elective surgery. So, we are all in the same boat and have to save for it. They do have a payment plan though...but I'm not familiar with it. One of the nurses will probably answer.
The first thing to do is to get that operative report from your TL and have it faxed to Chapel Hill for the doctors to look at...it sounds like you'd be ok for surgery though from your post. But, they need to ok it first. And your young age is on your side to! Good luck

Hello all My name is Amanda I\'m 28 years old and a wife and mother of two great girls. At the age of 21 I was kinda pushed in to getting a Tl. Had my 1st daughter at 23weeks ( she's doing great no really big problems) then had my 2nd in 2001 . i was told yesterday by the doctor that did my Tl that no tubes was cut off just clamped and cut and the ends was sowed no tubes was removed . I did get preg. in Aug of last year and MC .. my husband was against it from the start. but i listened to the doctors instead of my husband .. anyways were wanting another baby i found out that my insurance will not cover it . /cry.. and it is so pricey to have it done where i live .. I\'m not sure what the success rate is after have a tr but I\'m saving to get them reversed ... If anyone can help me with these question that would be great .. thanks
