My first name is "Symphony". I have never met another person with this name! It was chosen by my father, because of his favorite poem, by William Ellery Channing and is so special to me:
To live content with small means, to seek elegance rather than luxury, And refinement rather than fashion; To be worthy, not respectable, And wealthy, not rich. To study hard, think quietly, To talk gently, act frankly; To listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart. To bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, Await occasions, hurry never. In a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, Grow up through the common. This is to be my symphony

I already had names before I had the TR - Carly Jane for a girl and William Lee for a boy.
Carly Jane was born 5-13-08. I feel in love with the name Carly and Jane is my dh's grandmother's name. William was for my brother and grandfather, Lee is my middle name, as well as my father and great aunt.
All my kids have middle names of family member - my son has his dad's name, my oldest dd has my mom's middle name.

We have already picked out names..if it is a girl her name will be Holly Noel and if it is a boy Clark Edward. I think they are both great strong names. I cannot wait until we can use them. Not having our TR until next year due to hubby being in Iraq until the end of this year. Baby Dust to all!
Linda (Still at it) have you posted the name? I've seen you mention you had made a choice in a couple different posts, but didn't see the name. I'm just curious.
I had names picked out before getting a BFP. For a boy, Luke was a big contender until a friend named her son that. For a girl Olivia and Grace.
When we got the BFP we changed the names to honor our relatives. We chose for a boy, Isaac (his Grandfather's middle name and my Great GF) Samuel(my GF middle name) Dean(his step father's middle name). For a girl, Lily Catherine (my mother's middle) Ann (his mother's middle).
We went with middles for many reasons. I was fond of his GF name, George, and my GF name, Jesse, has been used many times already. For a girl, my Mom's given name is Zeffie, after her grandmother Zepheniah, which I don't care for, and his Mom's first name is Carol, which is not a fav either. So you see middle names made more sense.
Yes, I realize that when I get mad, I'll have a mouth full to yell out with Isaac Samuel Dean. And we're saving Lily Catherine Ann as the next mouthfull.

Im scheduled in August but have thought about different names too. I have 2 girls and a boy right now. Shelbie Donne, Nash Christopher, and Lanie Grace. If a girl I kind of want to keep with the "ie" at the end. I do like the name Peyton for a boy. Theres so many to choose from.

My TR was June 2nd. My DH and I have had names piced out for years. We def want Elias for a boy however we can't decide on a middle name. We like Grant but I want James so he has one of my DH's names. For a girl it's def going to be Lundin. We liked Ashely for a middle name but lately we're leaning more towards Mackenzie....hopefully we'll get to use those names soon.

We really feel we will have a girl...I'm not sure why...my TR is the end of the month. We are stuck on the name Addison (Addy) Hope. I've had the scripture "Hope on the Lord and He shall renew your strength" stand out to me several times during this journey. It is clear that Hope is to be used. My dh keeps saying we are having triplets (girls) and their middle names will be Faith, Hope and Love. He's not kidding. We'll be thrown a curve ball (although very sweet) if we are given another boy. My dh wants a strong name...probably something Biblical related or symbolism (Arogorn from Lord of the rings mentioned...lol).
This is so fun to dream with all of you!
Tracy...that's cute what you have done with A,B,C,D,E...That's what many couples do who have multiples!
Prayin4ababy...I love Jayden or Jaidyn for a girl or Jaida or Jada is very pretty...it was one of my picks before...but...
Mom2nbb, I have a little "Mia" instead! Her name fits...so small and petite.

Oh, duh, I forgot the reason for my post! The name I have picked out for my little girl was the name 'I' wanted for my daughter that is now 7-1/2. No one else wanted it when it came time to naming her, but several months later they all agreed. I was sooooo tempted to change her name. I even went as far as to tell my kids that one of them would HAVE to name their daughter it.
Now all these years later and after the TR I will finally be able to use it.
