Wearer6, please call the office on Monday to speak with one of the nurses. They will be able to pull your file to document and discuss your medications with the anesthesiologist.
I think you are good to go with your migraine meds. I know I emailed them about the same issue, only mine was to see if I could take my prescription pills if needed. They emailed back and said it was fine, and I also cleared it with the anesthesiologist. I know we don't want to jeopardize our date!
Email em' or call and ask if you have any questions!

Hi, yes, tylenol and caffiene are fine. They just want you to stop anything that can thin platelets...like aspirin, motrin, ibuprofen, advil, aleve, etc. And alot of otc herbs cause bleeding issues too...so don't take those either. And they should have a list of your Rx meds if you take any and would have advised you on those if there was anything to stop.
Good luck on your upcoming TR!! Sorry about the migraines...I get those too...but I am hoping that they are going away now that I had my TR. I am weaning my Rx medicine I've been taking for them to trial. (I don't want to be on it if I get pg anyway) I'm excited to see if some of my ptls symptoms go away!

I suffer from migraines (a lot) and I know that Tylenol is the only approved medication for the 3 weeks prior to TR. Tylenol does nothing for me, however Excedrin aspirin-free, or "Tension Headache" has been working okay. It is a mix of Tylenol and caffeine. I'm assuming this would be okay, since caffeine is not a problem prior to, but could someone verify this for me? Today is the day I have to stop all but Tylenol... I'd like to know for sure. Thanks!!
