Thank you for your post. Our patients travel to North Carolina from all over the world, including many from Canada. From what we are told, there is a waiting list in Canada and even though it APPEARS the surgery is less costly, patients are often confronted with a big hospital bill after the fact. What we have typically seen is that most women can travel to NC for surgery with Dr. Berger or Monteith and it is still less expensive - and more successful - than staying locally for the procedure.

Hi Shanda7 I know all about how aw full the medical care is in Canada.My husbands whole family lives in Brunswick Canada in grand falls,we do not live there thank goodness we live in PA.I had my tr on July 25th and you could not ask for a better medical staff then CHTRC.I would definetly call or email one of the nurses I am sure they can help.If you have any questions or just want some help just let me know.I will try my best.Best wishes hope you get your report.
