Stough1, I think we were ALL worried before the TR. The stitches and the tape are a breeze. Just Follow what the GREAT nurses there say. They will tell you what to do. This probably sounds gross but the only problem for me was having a bowl movement. Taking Vicoden clogs you!! Make sure you drink ALOT of apple juice. I also was afraid to go to the bathroom (Thinking I would bust the stitches open :{ ) LOL..LOL my sister thought I was Nuts :} I did'nt know! But be assured They wont bust open....Every thing the nurses told me was right on the mark. You wont be able to go to the gym and do a work out. But make sure you move around (just slowly:)...) Keep me informed on how your doing. God Bless! Christine

Hi Moonbeam, glad to hear you are doing well. It's Lisa, I had the surgery the same day as you. My DH told me to look out for you. I'm glad we all got to meet. It was a bunch of great people that day. It was nice we all got to talk during our consult time and hear each other's stories. How was the drive back to PA???!! Poor Luka, what a great guy. I bet he slept for like 2 days when you guys got back. Keep us informed with your journey ttc. I pray it happens really fast for you. Don't worry about the other girls, they'll be on board as soon as that baby gets here. You have to do what's right for you.

stough1 - Sure - I can tell you that the staff took really great care of me. Not sure if you're traveling from out of state, but I did and I stayed a day longer than some. I'm glad I did because I would have been wiped otherwise more just because of the all day travel.
The procedure was very quick (like 1.5 hours) and the site was totally numb for 12 hours or so. The day after, I just took it easy, took the meds and each day I'm feeling better and better. The only thing I'm having is some bloating (not sure how I will get back in to work clothes!) but other than that, life is good. The incision is only about 3 inches long.
Don't be worried about the pain, I'm a wimp and I really don't think it's bad at all! You can do it!!
