I would advise you wait until a missed period or an abnormally short period.
Many people will test early and, in doing so you, are going to potentially create a large amount of anxiety and spend a lot on money on pregnancy tests (which is what the pregnancy test manufacturers want you to do).

Suey...I haven't opk'd in a while but I have have a 28 day cycle...usually O' between cd 15 & 17...I always tested on day 23 and if I had a bfp it would show up for me by then...I know though everyone is different. Welcome to the boards Sue. Most can not wait till the first missed day. Some have gotten BFP on 10dpo. I wish you all the best. I for one am a waiter. I wait till cd 31 because my cycles run 30 days to test. I am not really a test nut like some. I wish you all the best. Miranda

Hi Sue. While a very few ladies can get their BFP at 10 DPO, most don't get one until 12 DPO or later. So I would suggest 12-14 days after you got your positive OPK indicating ovulation to test with an HPT. Good luck!

Hello my name is Sue I live in NY I had my surgery on October 6th with Dr. M. We waited till after my first period witch was 10/25, I used ovulation testing and now I sit and wait....Does anyone know when I should start testing with early pregnancy tests. A online sight I found said start on the 16th, but if anyone can give me insight I am so excited and cant wait I want to test now. Please any feedback would be appreciated
