Its 3:10am on Wed morning. Time for the pain pills. I do believe I slept so much yesterday, I've had enough.? Wide awake. Nothing to do. I decided to venture out to the vending machine to see what cracker selection they had. I inserted 3 quarters and it spit it back out. Bills only. Ok. I slowly walk back to my room and get a $1 bill. Go back and the crackers were only 75 cents. Use exact change only. Ok. It spit my $1 back. I just would like something to stick to me now that the gas is a going.... I took my happy butt down the elevator, in my pink striped zebra pants and hubbys old t-shirt to find the front clerk sleeping at her desk. She was so kind when I explaned to her I just wanted some crackers at 3am! She gave me a new kit. How nice I will say- drinking chicken broth and brown sugar oatmeal for a "midnight" snack. Again, the hotel has been very accommodating to us. They allowed my MIL and kids to stay in a room directly across the hall and also gave us the same room rate. Nothing is on TV at this time of night so here I sit. I assume I can take off my bandage cover? The pain meds have wore off so I now am feeling the burning sensation... Happy Wednesday! All in all this has been a great experience and want to thank all the ladies for the support. I had myself worked up to hives over a very mild procedure.

CH will send you an email in about a week regarding your surgery details. I'm sure if you email them they will tell you, too. It's hard to listen when you are so groggy from surgery!

Jen, don't wait as long as I did..it is painful. Maybe you should take one tonight. I took stool softeners every day and they did not help at all. I was several days past my TR before I was able to go. BAD ( that's what I looked like trying to "go" LOL)

Brit, I had a hard time peeing too. But it does get better. Don't let yourself get constipated whatever you do. I did and it was not fun...had to press a pillow against my incision and try to go. Even after dulcolax it was still AWFUL! So glad your ok. Take care, Amy H
