I found this . Looks like nobody offers it yet, but Delta will starting June?

Jan. 26--Delta Airlines is launching nonstop flights between Raleigh-Durham International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport this June.

The new service, which will be the only nonstop flight from RDU to the West Coast, is scheduled to start June 8 and will fly daily except on Saturdays, Delta announced on Wednesday.

"We are obviously very excited about Delta's announcement -- we have been working to get nonstop service to the West Coast, and are pleased that Delta has stepped forward to provide new service for the residents of our area," said Teresa Damiano, director of marketing for RDU, in a release.

The only other carrier that has offered nonstop ...

Thats a great Idea. we went through travel agent when we got married in Hawaii(Maui) and it was a direct flight but my mom & stepdad and DH's brother & sister-in-law had 1 stop

Yes unfortunately most flights do have a layover. My poor DH ended up carrying my stuff as well as his. I brought a lsptop in my backpack, and it was jsut too much. maybe try calling a travel agent in your area. They can usually get the hook up!!

Hi,
I flew out from California on 12/3/08 for my TR on 12/4. It was worth every penny to go all the way to CH, so rest assured you are making the right decision. We flew home the next day and it was fine. One thing I noticed was that the airlines got more expensive every time I looked at the rates, so maybe book your flight soon ? We did not have a non-stop flight, which I would definately recommend, since I was in a little pain and just wanted to rest, not wait in airports and do a lot of walking. Good luck to you!

Hi Aimee,
Many of Dr. Berger's and Dr. Monteith's patients have traveled from all over the world to benefit from their expertise. Congratulations on your decision to have tubal reversal surgery at our facility. I look forward to assisting you in scheduling and/or answering any questions you may have.

Oh and forgot to mention I flew out from Dubai for my surgery, was a little concerned over the return flight as I thought the post-op pain would be the same as my previous ops. I was amazed at how comfortable I felt, unfortunately I developed a chesty cough before going home which made coughing painful, if it wasn't for that it would have been a breeze.

Hi

Just thought I would add my bit am still very new to this. I am 40 and had my TR done 12-05-08 and my TL was done 14 yrs ago with clips. I only have 1 tube as 1 tube and ovary was removed when I was 14yrs old due to massive dermoid cyst. I then went on to have 1 further op for removal of another dermoid cyst on my only ovary along with partial ovarian tissue, I was 19. I was told that my chances of conception were minimal but 1 month later I was pregnant with my 1st daughter, my ex and I then went on to have a 2nd daughter 18mths later. I had my TL done when my youngest daughter was 3 as we had decided we wanted no more children and my ex wouldn't have a vasectomy! I was only 26 he was 43! Anyway am with my first love now, my childhood sweetheart who I met again after 21 years. He has 3 kids from previous relationship and now we want to have one together. I had the TR done to give us a shot but am trying not to get my hopes up as feel my age and 1 tube and ovary may hinder our chances. I know I conceived really easy before with 1 ovary but I was sooo young then. But if it doesn't happen then I know we have given it our best. Am putting this into gods hands, if we are meant to have a child together we will, if not ..... Hope I haven't bored you all. Love this site it gives me hope [Smile]

Just thought I would chime in. I had my TR in May 08. Still no baby yet but I also have 3 kids and my hubby has no kids of his own. Mine are also close in age to your kids. I live in Oregon and they make it pretty easy to arrange things so that you have a place to stay and even rides to and from the airport. How long were you married before? How old is your hubby?

So how soon after your TR did you get pregnant? If you dont mind me asking what type of TL did you have? Mine was a bipolar coagulation which is what is in my medical report.

Congrats on your decision. DH and I flew from Seattle so I know what you mean about distance but it was totally worth it! We have a beautiful baby girl that will be 1 on Jan. 9th.

My name is Aimee and I am 34yrs old was just remarried in 11/07 and my DH has no children of his own. I have 3 children from previous marriage DD age 15yrs, DD age 10yrs and DS age 8yrs, we would love to add to our family. Our plan is to start saving this month 1/09 and should have money saved by 4/09 or 5/09. We live in California which means we are pretty far from North Carolina so we will need to save for Hotel costs & airfaire. Anyone else flying from California?

Thanks,
Aimee1974
