Welcome to the boards! I know you are excited and can't wait. I was the same way when we decided to have TR. It couldn't get it here soon enough I thought. Time will actually go by faster than you think and you'll have your TR and begin TTC. Good luck and wish you all the best with your journey.

Welcome to the message boards they are very helpful. You are in great hands with Chapel Hill. I had my surgery on October 6th 2008 with Dr. M, and I am currently 7 weeks pregnant. I know it was all right away but well worth it I didnt think I would ever be able to experience a child with my DH as he has no kids, I mean he is great to my 3 children but we wanted one of our own. Good luck and best of wishes. Suey

TheMrs, welcome!! You have made the right choice in picking CH!! The staff is amazing. I got pregnant when I was 17 and my son is now almost 10! After a horrible pregnancy and delivery I decided to get my tubes tied. My son was diagnosed with CP when he was one and I figured this was Gods plan for me than I met my husband and we married almost 5 years ago. He doesn't have children of his own either and we decided to have a TR done. I had my surgery with Dr.Berger January 10,2008 I got my BFP our 2nd month trying and our Natalie Elizabeth was born November 24, 2008. I wish you the best of luck and like the others have said, you will find so much support here!!

Hello everyone, my name is Crisha.Im 28 years old and living in nc. We have decided 2009 is the year of my tubal reversal reversal.I had my tubes tied in 2003 when I found out my youngest son was autistic.I was pregnant at the time with my daughter and I kinda figured all my kids were gonna be the same way. Not even 7 months later, me and my then husband divorced. I met a great new guy who was young and it didnt bother him I was sterile. But we've been together for 5 years, we want children together.Im a stay at home wife but im joining the workforce again so I can pay for my operation by october.Im just waiting on my medical records to arrive.I have been to a tiny walk in clinic in sarasota florida and they refused me, siting that they have better results with IVF. I had lost all hope until I read about other women on this site that concieved and had the same TL I have had.I had a bilateral folgerization( spelled it wrong most likely..lol). Im using my taxes to jumpstart the process.I get so excited just thinking about it! It would mean so much to us to have a child together
