Welcome and you will find many, many women here who will be open and honest with their experiences and willing to listen to you and give advice when you need it. You will be in excellent hands at CH.
Congrats on moving toward your nursing career. I have the utmost respect for nurses and what the give every day to others. The NICU nurses who cared for my son were the most amazing, caring, dedicated people I have ever met. I visit once a year (he is now almost 6) to give them a goody basket of thank yous!
PTLS is a nightmare but you do have a light at the end of the tunnel. I was free of all 22 PTLS symptoms just 5 months post TR. It is amazing when you get your life back and feel ok in your own skin again. Good luck!

Welcome and congrats on your accomplishments! I am going into nursing school in 2010. I was going to do it 09, but when I realized I was suffering with PTLS, I decided to seek out a TR first b/c the migraines and fatigue are killing me. I wish you the best of luck with your TR.

Hello to all. I am planning on using my tax return this year to pay for the reversal.I found this site about 4 years ago and was just starting Nursing school so the timing just wasn't right.I am graduating this year and am ready to have a new chance at life and creating it.I too have suffered so much over the past 8 years with PTLS like many of the women on these boards.Between the debilitating miagraines, anxiety attacks and all the useless trips to Doctors offices and ER's I am just exhausted and frightened. I have prayed for God to restore my health and HE has led me here...so here I am.Good Luck To All.Peace & Love
