Ashworth and Ivy...speak to your doctors about taking an aspirin a day, if you aren't already. Many studies have shown that not only is it good for cardiac health, but that it improves blood circulation with helps thicken the lining of the uterus. It is also good for a growing embryo to help prevent clotting issues that can cause early m/c. Good luck!

I had an UA done from an ablation 3 years ago. My lining measured a 4. Does that mean it is regenerating back. I have started to have light cycles for 1 day for the last 6 months. We are saving to have a TR, hopefully by Dec of 2010 is our goal. these days it is hard to save. What can women do or take to make the lining re thicken?

I think you need somewhere between 8 and 13 mm for pregnancy. I was waiting to see what one of the docs might say. I guess all the right components could come together for you to get a BFP. Dr M said if you were having periods it was a good thing.

I actually am not sure because I missed my period this month and that is why I had a vaginal ultrasound my last cycle was at the end of December so the doctor told me it might just be I am skipping a month. Everything is normal blood and u/s shows the ovaries are ok.

I had a cryo-ablation in 7/07 but still have my period every month(3 days). I know with that surgery the lining is destroyed but have been told that if I still get a period it is a good sign and that I may be able to conceive. How thick does it have to be in order to carry a baby? Is there anything that can be done to thicken it?
I had a vaginal ultrasound today and they said my thickness was 7.8 mm is that too low???
This is my biggest worry before I move forward with my TR...
