I meet them briefly. They were nice people. It's funny because before the tr I didn't know there was any one else that was going on the same day. I guess alot of couples don't do the chat. Denise

Congrats Jen, I am happy for you and Dh both. The Paprika thing is so cute ! It is totally normal to feel nervous. I had my TL 2/99 and TR 4/09; I remember the day that Dh and I Bd'd after TR the first time... it was so weird when I realized that we had unprotected sex. LOL! I almost threw up I got so nervous. I thought... "Oh my, what if I get pg?". I know crazy. There are always what if's going on in your mind, just try and relax and allow God to do his thing. I know, easier said then done. My first month TTC I told myself that I wouldn't obsess over it but of course I did. It was a huge let down when AF showed the first time... it took 40 days and I am NOT a 40 day gal. I am 3DPO right now and not half as anxious as the first time.
My children are 15,13,12 and almost 11; you sound a lot like us (Yes, hopefully my Dh will get his first also)! You will find lots of support on these boards; these women are AMAZING and I don't know how I could do it without their experiences and knowledge. I am still new to the whole TTC thing. I wish all the best and lots of baby dust on your journey!! Lisa

My name is Jen and I live in Brunswick Ga. I am married to an amazing man, and I have three wonderful children, 15, 12, and 11. Hopefully my husband will get his first. My husband Matt and I are already talking about the "when" and have nicknamed the not yet baby Paprika, since were both red heads and a bit spicy we found it appropriate instead of it, him or her.
I had my TL May of 98, and my reversal by Dr. Monteith on June 1st 2009. My husband and I and researched a TR for 6 years, and we finally decided that CHTRC was the place to do it. I am so happy that this is the choice that we made, Now I must say I more nervous than I ever have been. My mind is filled with so many what if's. But, I am so happy and I know that we made the right choice to have the surgery.
