Neva, That place sounds cool! I'm not a drinker but I do like the occasional drink. However, my husband loves to try new beers from different brewery's. He isn't a drinker either but likes his occasional beers. So I think this place would be an awesome place. I'm in!! Thanks for taking this on!

Hey ladies I hope you are all well. I absolutely do not mind heading up our meeting as a matter of fact I googled local restaurants and found what seems to be a great Brewery/restaurant called The Top of The Hill. Thanks for the invite I will let you know, It depends on how I will be feeling after surgery but hopefully I will feel up to it. It would be nice to meet all of you. I am 34YRs old, my DH is 29yrs old. I have 3 children from previous marriage and he has none of his own,hoping to change that real soon

Aimee, I am sure that Neva and Connie wouldn't mind if you and your DH joined us for dinner the 2nd if your feeling up to it. Neva is kind of heading that up since she will be there first. I am hoping to be there abt 4pm. Not sure abt when Connie is arriving. Anyway, leave a message for Neva at the front desk and I'm sure she wont have a problem contacting you with the details.

All three of us are checking in on 8/2/09. I myself will be arriving around 11 am, and I'm hoping to get an early check in at noon, otherwise DH and have to wait until 3.

I am so excited I am having surgery a few days before you all. My TR is 7/31/09, we will arrive in NC on 7/29/09 and will fly back home on 8/3/09. when are the both of you checking in to the sheraton?

Neva, I'm so excited that connie found us! This is going to be such a journey and so much fun to have both of you to share it with me! I can't wait to meet you two! I feel like I kind of already know you though through our little chats. I had such a relaxing weekend except for my kids fighting none stop! I even questioned myself as to if I could handle another child. But I don't think god would give us more than we can handle and I think it was anger talking! Other then that I had a great weekend! Connie, I'm so happy you found us! I'm sorry I haven't been on this weekend! I have been out in my yard all weekend working on my flower beds! It was so relaxing and so much fun! It looks amazing!! I was proud of it. I am looking forward to dinner with both of my TR sister! Where are you comming from? How long will it take you to drive to CHTRC? How long are you staying? We are leaving on tuesday as soon as they release us to home. I hope all 3 of us can keep in touch after the surgery. I'm more and more anxious everyday!
I wanted to tell you my mom worked with severly behavioral children ( adhd type ) and you must really be a very special person to do what you do! My hat goes off to you! I thought it was funny that all 3 of us were in school! LOL! Keep in touch Beverly

I can totally relate to how you feel! I am so excited I can barely stand it, so it is a good thing I have been so busy. I don't know if you have read this entire thread, but if you have, you are completely filled in on Beverly and I. I don't know if you do myspace, or face book, but Beverly and I communicate through there as well. Her myspace can be found under big blue eyes, and mine is NevA EvA lol. I also DJ at my University radio station and my bio can be found on rev89radio.com under air staff. I don't think we will need one anothers last names because we will all be booked as CHTR patients. So happy to have made contact.

Neva: We are definitely interested in having dinner with you both. I was just telling my DH about you both and he was equally excited. Having found you, I am more at peace than I have been in a while. I think it goes from excitement to anxiety every other minute. LOL We have both been working like dogs to come up with the money and now that we can relax, we can't. My first name is Connie, which is what Chapel Hill knows me by, but I go by Diane. If I arrive at the hotel first I will leave my name and cell for you both! I don't know your last names, will I need to or will the first name work? Thanks a ton!
it is so god to hear from you I was just telling DH yesterday that I was afraid we had scared you off. I am leaving a message and phone # at the front desk for Beverly when she arrives, we are hoping to meet for dinner so I will leave the same message for you as well, if you are interested. Wow we have a lot in common! I had my DS 15 (today) at the age of 17, and he only weighed 2 and 1/2 lbs. and I will walk in may 2010 as well. I can't wait to meet you and Beverly, as we all take on this major step in our lives.
I am 35, DH is 32, we been married for 11 years I am also a student and have my last final on the 29th. I am majoring in Special Ed/Abnormal Behavior. I love Psychology. I have one more semester after this one and will walk in May 2010. I have two DS 17 and 15. I had my older child at 17. I had him at 28 weeks and he was so tiny, but you sure can't tell now. The second pregnancy was a healthy one. They are both amazing creatures. I work at a College nearby. I love my job. I get to work with the students who come in with learning issues. It really is very rewarding. We tried IVF a few years ago but it was unsuccessful. We are driving to NC and should be there around 3 - 4 PM. Again, I wanted to thank you both for being so eager to bring me in your circle. It really helps. I will certainly be thinking about you both.
