I'm coming from Colorado, and I figured who ever arrives at the hotel first can leave a message at the front desk for the other, and then we can get ahold of one another that way.
I never had a hard time getting pregnant before my TR, and really only "planned" two out of my three babies.
Pregnancy is hard for me, I tend to put on A LOT of weight! I know, I know, so does everybody, but I have come real close to doubling my body weight. Granted I was in my late teens and early twenties then, and I never weighed that much in the first place, but 80 lbs. is not okay.
That was with my first baby, and I was 17 at the time. Something was very wrong but I didn't know it, and the Doctors didn't act like I should worry so I didn't. Long story short, They were off on my due date by an entire month, and I thought I was going into premature labor, he was breach, and had a BM so I had to have an E-Csection. then they told me he was going to be real small..... well my son weighed 2.5 lbs. at 38 weeks! They never did tell me why it happened, I heard words like preclamsia, and placenta depravation but was never officially diagnosed. My son will now be 15 this month, and no one would ever believe he was ever that small.
When I wanted to have another baby the doctors simply told me that because we don't know what caused it in the first place, we don't know if it will happen again, but it didn't. I mean I did gain a ton of weight with the next two pregnancies, but my babies were fine and I had them both vaginally. Although they were not very big either.... 6.5 lbs. and 5.4 lbs, but still nothing like my son.
All I can do is first pray for that BFP, and then pray for the best.... I so much now that I didn't then, and I am supper healthy, so here I go......

Hello Beverly, It is good to hear from you. I'm in school right now until July 30th and then I go back for my final semester on Aug 28th. Everything came together so perfectly.... I really needed to do my TR in that little window of opportunity. You know so I could heal up before school starts again.
My husband who does not have ant children of his own wants a biological baby. You and your husband were very fortunate to share the birth of a child even if it was from a "sperm donner". My youngest was eight when my husband and I met, but she sure is a daddy's girl.
I wouldn't call us a biracial couple.... He is the biracial one lol... he is half Hispanic and half Caucasian, i am hispanic.
We look forward to meeting you both. We are buying our plane tickets next week, but it looks like we will get to NC by a decent time, we should have dinner the night before our TRs.... if it works out of course.

Hello bpmommy, I just wanted to introduce myself in a little more detail considering we are about to share a monumental day in our lives. I am 32, and my husband is 30, I have three kids, and he is hoping for his first bio-baby;
DS 15 DD 12 DD 11
I had my TL in 98, because I was sure my "EX" husband and I were done having kids. We were young, didn't have a lot of money, and I wanted to go back to school as soon as my baby was in school full time.
Thats around the time my ex decided that marriage was no longer his thing, or maybe you can say I refused to stay with him after the crap he pulled.... long story short he stopped living up to his vows. I found myself in a situation I never imagined myself..... A single mom of 3 with no education, and no real work history because I had stayed home all of those years with my babies.
I stuck with my plan and went back to school and after I got over my distain for men, I realized that I loved being a wife! and just because my ex for-fit our marriage doesn't mean I should have to live without my dreams of having a life long marriage.
It was after that God sent me my husband, but I will never forget the look on his face in our early dating days when I told him that I had a TL. I thought for sure he would move on to a woman that could give him a child, but he chose me, and said If he is to be a father I will be its mother.
I never thought we would be able to afford it, but my Grandmother left me a little bit of money and I borrowed the rest from my parents. I still can't believe they agreed to lend me the remaining balance. I guess it was there way of giving us their blessings.
All three of my kids know about my TR and they are all very excited. It has all been such a whirl wind.
Timeline; Met my husband in 9/06 got engaged in the summer of 07 got married in 8/08 having TR 8/3/09 Will graduate with my degree in Broadcast Journalism in 12/09
WOW, All glory to God
We pray that it is his will for us to have a baby or a BFP by this time next year..... I can't imagine what 2011 will have in store for us lol

It is such a huge step, and I truly believe it will bond us for a long time to come. I have to get up super early for work, but as soon as I have a minute I will fill you in about my particular story, but I would love to hear yours as well so if you get time before me... feel free.

Hello to all, I am scheduled July 14 for my TR. I have been waiting for this day for three years. But every time we saved up enough money some major home repair was needed. Well not this time and I can wait! I have four children from a previous relationship. My husband does not have any children.
