Dr. M performed my TR on 04/01/2009 and he was such an easy person to talk to. Everyone at CHTRC are angels in their own right and are there for a reason. CHTRC is the best there is to offer, and so is the supporting staff. I do not think I could have gotten better care or results anywhere else. My tubes are healthy, and every single PTLS symptom has long been gone, and not to forget...I got my BFP on 08/30 and am now 6 weeks 3 days pregnant with my first TR baby, and every things is going good so far. No matter which surgeon you choose (I didn't get the pleasure of meeting Dr. B) you are in great hands!

I have Dr. M, and Im so glad we made that decision. Yes, he was the cheapest but he was great. Dr. B might have the most experience, but that really didnt mean that much to me because Dr. B trained him and Im sure Dr. B wouldnt let him do this if he didnt feel confident that Mr. M could do it. Dr. M was a great dr and I would recommend him to anyone! I had my TR in June this year and I have already gotten pregnant, although it ended in a MC at only 5 weeks. We know that we can get pregnant. We are trying again and hoping that this time is the one.

I went with Dr.B only because DH said if we were flying to NC we were getting the best .BUT with that said from what i have seen they are both the best DR.B trained DR.M and God watches over both of them ..so as long as you choose CHTR you have made a GREAT choice..Good luck to all ..

Dr. Monteith is awesome. I was also one of his newest patients. I did have an ectopic pregnancy and lost my tube but that wasn't his fault at all. Those Doctors that handled my ectopic were very impressed with his work. The ENTIRE staff is awesome! Everyone from the receptionist, the nurse, the Doctor. Anyone you come in contact with at Chapel Hill is amazing. They are on top of things and I know I picked the right place!

Dr M performed my surgery on 3-16-09. He is a wonderful doctor! Honestly,I was not very hopeful because I had only one tube that was 4 cm long, the other was lost due to a tubal pregnancy a few years ago. Less than three months later I was pregnant. I am due March 13,2010. I am very thankful for what Dr M did for us and would definitely recommend CHTRC to anyone!

Jadi97 Im planning late October- early November, Sept. 21st is just around the corner!! I am on the newbies list! Look forward to hearing from you, Tammye
Dr. M is such an amazing guy! He was warm and welcoming. He was encouraging when we had the TR my dh's SA was "clinically infertile" 2 months after his vas-reversal. Dr. M was very positive and said "it only takes one" and said to repeat in a couple months...it takes 3 months for sperm to regenerate. A few months later, dh was perfect. One of my tubes closed, but it's my body's fault. I praise Dr. M for being such a wonderful doctor with a great bedside manner. He will make you feel right at home. I was one of his first patients too 7/31/08 and did not hesitate one bit on his "inexperience" at the time. He trained under one of the best TR docs in the world and was helping in the OR months before being on his own. OK, I'll shut up! I just love Dr. M....oh and if you have any questions, just email him and he'll email you back. I had a question and I called one time about my hsg and he called back. He's just very personable.
I hope to get my little "Monteith Miracle" tshirt in the next year or so, especially since I thought of the phrase to go on the shirts. lol
