I had my TR 8/25/08 with Dr M and I really liked him. I've had no BFPs yet, but an HSG in May showed both tubes open (the radiologist remarked that I must have had a good surgeon because it was pretty rare for them to see both tubes open after a TR.) Good luck!

It is wonderful to read all of these messages about Dr. Monteith. He is not only an excellent doctor, but also one of the nicest people one can imagine. All of our staff and I feel very fortunate to have him here.

Dr Monteith is great. I was one of his very first patients. My TR was 7/30/08. My consult was on my birthday last year. I got a little belated birthday present the first cycle we TTC.
As I sit here, nursing our 8 week old gift from God, I am thankful that I chose Dr M almost in a whirlwind...we made the immediate decision to schedule once we saw Dr M offered his services beginning in July, and they were a reduced cost.
I had immediate relief of some of my PTLS symptoms, and when my cycles return, I expect them to be back how they were prior to TL...unless I get pregnant first and then darn AF will just have to wait longer for her return!

Well I have to agree with everyone else here I think Dr.M is great he did perform my surgery we chose him for cost reasons we just could not wait any longer to save for Dr.B we were impatient...LOL So any way I had my TL 2/6/2004 and I had my TR 10/6/2008 and I got pregnant rather quick I got my first BFP 12/20/2008 totally was not expected as I did not chart or do anything, We did use Pre-Seed that month I conceived. I am currently 35 1/2 weeks pregnant I am scheduled to have my little miracle baby boy Jordon Percy on 8/24/2009 VIA C-Section. I highly recommend CHTRC to anyone out there looking for relief from PTLS and also looking for that little added bonus. Congrats and best of luck to you and your family on your Journey you are in the best of hands regardless who performs your surgery the entire staff there is amazing and has made many dreams come true as well as provided relief to many patients as well

Dr. M is awesome. He is a wonderful person and surgeon. He performed my TR on 11/18/2008. I had to have one of my tubes implanted because I had uterine fibrosis (scarring). I know it was "difficult" for him to repair my right tube due to the scarring, BUT HE DID IT. I had my first BFP 6 months later!

I chose Dr. M for my procedure on 6/23/09 and have no regrets whatsoever. He was very kind, very gentle natured and we just felt "right" being there and chosing him. I was a lucky one who had very minimal discomfort after the procedure and the incision has healed wonderfully! I jokingly say that it couldn't look better even if a plastic surgeon had done it! I am also impressed that one night I emailed him with a question, just last week actually and he responded at 9:30 pm! I wasn't expecting a reply until the next day, but he responded within 2 hours of me emailing him. Although he couldn't answer me, he assured me he would check my chart the next day and get back with me. Sure enough by 8:30 am then next morning I had his reply! He is a very respected man by many of us ladies and I for one am very proud to be one of his statistics. Even if we never get a BFP, I will never second guess our decision to go with Dr. M.

I also chose Dr M for my surgery, although money was a part, i read his profile and even though Dr B has been doing it longer, Dr. M's background is very impressive. I love the fact that he is the 1st Doc certified for this! All your great words have just reassured me I made the right decision. Its the ladies like you that made me pick CH in the first place.

Dr. M did my surgery on May 20. I have had 3 c-sections. He was so great. He actually had to implant my right tube into the side of my uterus. He told me when I woke up from surgery and also said that it took my chances of getting pregnant off that side down to around 20%. Well, on July 11 I got a +HPT. I found out that I had ovulated off of my side that was implanted. I am currently 6 weeks pregnant and all is going perfectly. My husband and I are so grateful for all he has done for us and that my PTLS is gone. If I had to do it all over again I would choose Dr. Montieth again. Heather
