Angel I wish you all the best. I had my TR done on a Monday too. I loved getting there and having everything done in one day. For me, my incision was bigger than they picture. Dr.B used my c-section line and went along it. It was closed the next morning and I never had any troubles out of it. I wish you all the best on your big day. If you are like me the nerves will give way to excitement. Enjoy your day. Miranda

I had my TR Thursday and I am now back home recovering, I am swollen but all in all it went great. Just take your meds as they tell you to and you'll be fine. The worse part for me so far has been the plane ride but I am only two days post op. Tammye

Hi ladies.Quick question. Today was day 10 after my surgery and I removed my stitch not realizing I was only suppose to clip the ends.D We called the nurses and they informed me to stay off my feet for a few days. I guess my question is did this happen to anyone else? I'm a little scared !!!

Angel, We look forward to meeting you. We suggest you avoid lifting anything over 15 pounds, doing sit-ups, or doing abdominal crunches for approximately 4 weeks following surgery. You can remove the dressing over your incision the morning after surgery. You may then shower, washing gently at and around the incision with your Hibiclens soap and water and then pat the area dry with a clean towel. Keep the incision area clean and dry. Avoid tub baths for 10 days (until the suture knots are cut off). Martha

Angel, our patients are happily surprised how well they do with the incision as long as they follow the post-op nursing instructions. Hopefully some former patients will chime in about their experiences.

Friday, I am so nervous. Just wondering if anyone knows how bad the tubal reversal incision will be, and how long until the stitches dissolve. Thanks
