I am feeling great, too. Can't wait to get some more exercise! I had no idea that the scar would be so unnoticeable, and I'm still amazed at how smoothly everything went. It feels so good to know that the possiblity for a BFP is there. I decided not to start out stressed-out about fast results, and I think stress might make it take longer anyway. So, I'm just going along, waiting to see... It's good to hear from you again. I guess even though we didn't meet face-to-face, we are still "TR sisters." Let me know how it goes! ~Sarah

Sarah~ Just checking in to see how you are doing? It has been about 2 and a half weeks now and I am doing great....back to my normal routine. Just waiting for my BFP! My incision looks very good. Hope all is going as well for you.

Isn't it neat? I've never had contact with people like this before with such a MAJOR thing in common.
Kim, I started watching what I eat better and massaging my stomach, and now most of the bloating is gone, but I still feel more comfortable in loose clothes. I was so glad to get the steri-strips off; tomorrow it's cutting the loops! Everything looks great, and I can't believe how much better I feel only one week later. Take care... ~Sarah

Hi Sarah... Glad to hear you are doing so well...I do better also when I move around. I went back to work Thursday....light duty but glad to be feeling so well. I too have been bloated. I am still having to wear my sweat pants. I only had to take pain meds for the first three days but I do fine without them now. I am sure that will go way in time...It is hard to believe it has only been 8 days since my surgery. My incision looks great. I hope we both get our BFP's very soon! Have a great weekend!
I was the last one in for surgery, so I guess I didn't see you, but I think I saw your husband in the waiting room. I am feeling better all the time. I am able to take care of all the light work around my house, and I don't feel sore unless I bend or move that part of my tummy. Except in the morning when I first wake up, I feel sore until I get moving. But it seems to get better the more I move around, and I'm not using the pain medication anymore.
One bad thing is that my tummy has bloated! I am hoping that doesn't last too long. It is really bugging me more than the incision pain.

Hi Sarah....I don't remember talking to anyone in the recovery or waiting room....just the nurses. I do remember seeing two women there...one with light blonde hair and a tall hubby with dark hair and another woman...tall... with a little darker wavy hair and glasses ...was one of these you? My hubby said he talked to another hubby in the waiting area. I am glad to hear you had as good of an experience as we did! We are both shocked at how minimal my pain has been. I wish you the very best! ~Kim (kim8811)

Chapel Hill is a beautiful town. My DH and I drove over to check out Duke University and on the way home we stopped by and took a tour of the Biltmore Estate in Asheville. It was awesome. We left the day after my surgery.
