I am with Kelly it was Fantastic. Mine was closed the morning the nurse came to let me go home so I had no burning at all when I got in the tub. I wish you a happy tub of warm water. Miranda

Mesha, Our recommendation is that you wait 10 days before taking a tub bath. You should be fine. Continue to monitor your incision site over the next couple of days. Relax and enjoy!

I remember that feeling. There is nothing like a nice warm bath after a long day. You really dont miss it until you cant have it. I dont think I waited 11 days maybe 8 days at the most. I didnt want to get out. I stayed in there for over an hour. No pain at all, if anything it helped me feel better. I had my TR in 2005 so I have forgot how long they said you should wait so please wait the number of days you were told. I didnt have any problems or any pain after my TR. I didnt have small kids to run after and my DH waited on me hand and foot so I got lost of rest for a few days. I am now happy to say that I had my TR 4 years and 7 months ago. I now have a 1, 2, 3 year old and one due to be here Feb. 2010. I wish you the very best and go get your bath, it will make you feel 100% better.

first bath was FANTASTIC!! LOL I couldn't wait to get into the tub again, there was minor discomfort (sort of like if u cut yourself shaving- just a little burn) but it went away very quickly and I wanted to stay in there for HOURS!! Best of luck to you, enjoy your soak!!
