ssullivan I never thought I would have the money and then it was just there. I can still remember the day I paid in full and set my date. I had Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome and am very thankful that it is better now. I wish you all the best. Keep that attitude and you will go far. I know I am only 29 but with you still ovulating and have regular periods you have great hope in reaching your dream. My husband is 23 and hopes one day to have a child of his own. If not he is having fun raising my two. I am thankful for having him in my life as you are to have yours. Hang in there. Miranda

In Gods hands, You sound similar to me, I just turned 44 and DH 38. We have been together for almost 18 years! I have a daughter who is 19 and in college away from home. He has raised her. We never thought about having a biological child together until this year. The timing was never right and the stress from jobs was always a major issue. I lived breathed and worked myself to exhaustion at an insurance company. DH took a management job making double the salary, I quit my stressful job at SF and we are happier than we have been in years. Sometimes things happen just the way they are supposed to. I am hoping we haven't waited too long. I am still ovulating and have regular periods. I also pray everyday! I guess if it is God's will, I will be pregnant soon . I know my DH is one of the best men I have ever known.

Woo Hoo! All TR lab work test are back and look great! Going to schedule for 12-1! We are so excited. Thanks for all the words of encouragement.
I had my TR on 10/21/2009. I am 44 and DH is 22. He has no children and I have 3. I chose not to have any test prior to my TR. I did however spend the year before taking Prenatals and keeping check of my cycles and making sure I was ovulating. God put it in my heart that all was ok and to go ahead with my TR. I just finished my cycle and tested positive on my ovulation surge . Heres hoping and praying that this bean is ready. I give you all the encouragement in the world and if your heart says do it then why not. Your are only as old as you feel. Will it and it will be. Good Luck

I am brand new to the Tubal Reversal Message Board and wanted to introduce myself. I just turned 45 and have received so much encouragement from this site. I am waiting for a couple of lab results and plan to have my TR on 12-1 if everything comes back fine. I have three children from a previous marriage (24, 22 and 15), my DH does not have any biological children and after 10 years our relationship has come to the point where we believe a child would complete our family in so many ways. There are many things working against us because of my age but we truly believe it is in Gods hands and that he has put this desire in our hearts. I will stop rambling. Looking forward to getting to know you all.
