Sabrina I have posted on here about the hair lose more than once. It was the first big thing for me. I had very bad joint pain in my hips and back. My doctor tested me for everything he could think of. As you said the AF's were so hard and bad. Sometimes I felt like I lived in my bed away from everyone. I am glad you will get that chance to have another baby but you want know what hit you when you feel better. And Ohh Yess that sex drive does return. I bet your DH will like it. Mine says he never know our live together could be like this. We have grown closer in the time after the surgery because I am so much better in every way. My email is ranisheets23 at yahoo dot com if you would like it. I pray you get that baby but most of all that you are made whole again and happy. Miranda
I have PTLS too. That is some awful stuff. Mine started with my hair falling out like I had just went through a rapid chemo treatment or something. I can run my hand through my hair now and come away with about 30 hairs in one hand. But when it first started I thought I was going to go bald. Not to mention the memory problems that I have. It is like I have lost my short term memory at times. I am always cold even if it 90 outside and I am not going to get started on AF. My labido went out the window when I was 21 so I don't know how I will feel if that comes back full force after my TR. Look out Hubby here I come! It will scare the poor guy! LOL... When I ran across a web site about PTLS it was completely by accident. Then when I read and counted the symptoms that they listed I was shocked. The web site list 43 of them. I have 31 out of the 43. And some of them are very bad. Like get mad or upset at the drop of a dime and sometimes for no reason at all. A depression that hits me at times. The doctor would put me on meds for it and they would make me have symptoms of a strung out drug attict. I would get paranode so bad that I could not sit still for 5 seconds. I would hear a noise and freak out and I was constantly looking out my windows or if I went out some where. I would look over my shoulder like someone was going to attack me. It was awful. So I made a promise to myself to never take antidepressent pills. I go to the gym instead now. That helps to keep my anger problems under control when I feel like I am coming to my wits end and it has done wonders for keeping my depression symptoms at bay. I am parying that everything goes away after my TR. Maybe I will feel like myself again. Happy go lucky like I use to be 17 years ago.

Sabrina that is a great out look. I had PTLS very bad so I am so grateful to feel like myself again. We had one BFP after a year post surgery but it ended in MC. We are waiting to see what this month holds. I just can not wait to read your post. Miranda

Ok so now I know what to look forward to as far as the incision goes. I have waited so long to have this done that I am to the point. That they could do a standard Y incision like what medical examiners use. Just as long as I get to have the baby that I have waited so long for. Now I wonder if they could go in on the left side so I will have matching scars. LOL.
But all in all. I am just happy to have my tubal reversal done after trying so many times over the past 7 years.
Not to worry everyone's body is shaped differently. Your tubal reversal incision size will depend on this aspect. 2-4 inches is typical with minimal healing time. Hope this helps !

Sabrina mine is not that small. I am a small girl but mine came out a few cm shy of my whole c-section line. I just want you to be prepared. I went in thinking a small cut but got a bigger one. It did add to the healing time. I wish you all the best. Miranda

Sabrina, A small incision (2"-4" depending on your size) is made just above the pubic bone. This scar is usually not visible or is hidden within the pubic hair within a month or so of the surgery. Martha

From what I have been told it could be as small as 2 inches up to almost the length of a c-section scar. Typically if you are a larger person the tubal reversal incision will be bigger.

How big of a tubal reversal incision do you walk away with after a TR. No one has ever said. So can some please tell me what I will be looking forward to in a few days.
