It was a pleasure meeting you. I am sorry that your remaining tubal lengths were not what you wished for. However, I do have to agree with Vivian and Becki- it may take a little longer to conceive but at least now it is a possibility! Happy holidays.
It was great meeting you yesterday and I hope you are feeling well. We have many patients who get pregnant with tube lengths of 2 cm! Your tube lengths may not have been what you were hoping for, but there's no reason to get discouraged. I advice you to scroll through our Pregnancy Reports and see for yourself. Please remember, we are always here for support and to answer any questions you may have.

There are plenty of women who have had that length and became PG- Go back and check PG reports and you will see. I believe there is one TR sister on here with 2 cm on each side and is PG with her 3rd TR baby!!!! You'll start noticing more how many really are PG with short tubes.. It happens, just have faith and CONGRATS on being on the other side... Rest up because the real fun begins soon!!!

Hi Sam. I know that it could be dissappointing when you wake up and find out your tube are not the lenght you expected but you should see it from the positive side. Your tubes ARE repaired now and you have a chance every month to try to conceive. A lot of women are able to conceive with short tubes or even when they only have one working tube. Doctor do what they can and God does what seems impossible. Best wishes to you and have faith.

I didn't sleep well last night and didn't begin to have an anxiety attack until I saw the surgery room, then I fell asleep shortly after. I've made it to the other side, very sore, and a bit depressed. I was so encouraged by my numbers prior to surgery, of course Dr. Berger warned that what's on paper isn't always what he finds inside. He said my tubes were in bad shape (that's the word I'll use for a lack of remembering the exact words). The surgery was a sucess with the following lengths: (R) 2.75 and (L) 2. Isn't this a reason to be depressed? DH doesn't know that I'm so upset or understand the concept of concern I have with tubal lenghts.
