Thanks so much for the advice, will definitely consider using OPKs this month since AF went right ahead and threw everything off kilter. Hoping and praying to have as good of luck as Wantingababy2010!! Best wishes to you, hope all goes well for a healthy pregnancy!! Will have to see what comes of this in a couple of weeks. Until then, will continue to hang out and keep cheering others on!! Seeing others have success gives me hope that the 60% to 70% chance we have will come around sooner or later...

An OPK is a wonderful way to track ovulation and takes the guess work out of temp tracking for most women. This is especially true if you don't have regular sleep cycles as some women complain of when they have thyroid issues. Fran M, RN

Hello Eneitge, I used an ovulation kit and became pregnant one month after my surgery. I had my TR done on 8/19/10 and got a positive HPT on 9/27/10. Everything is good baby is in the uterus where it should be....Just make sure to have your HCG levels done and get that u/s so you can make sure it is not in your tubes....GOOD LUCK HONEY!! If you use the ovulation predictor sticks you will get an approximate idea of when you will ovulate. Allowing you to focus your energy. Also to confirm you can take your temperature every morning. It's amazing what you discover about your body when you are actually paying attention.

Well we missed it last month, and AF FINALLY made her tardy appearance on the 19th, four days late! Saw my Dr yesterday, my TSH is fine, actually DOWN from last time, which surprised me. We are all on the same page with the pregnancy plan now, and my Dr has said that if we have no luck in six months she will refer us to the fertility specialist here. So...we start anew...looks like Halloween will be the start of a very busy week!! Hoping to catch that little bugger this month, going to use my earlier cycle dates just incase I O earlier than this cycle would predict. Fun fun!!
