Let me tell you ladies something about the HPT's. I used a first response 4 days early and got a very very light line but I saw it, I immediately called doc and went in and got my blood test it was a 5.3 and my doctor considers you pregnant at a 4. Which we all know is barely pregnant, but that just shows you how sensitive that test is. It seems that you carry some HCG anyway, doctors seem to vary opinions on this however that is why first response can be known to give false positives. I did miscarriage that pregnancy last year, however my TR baby is 27 months old, I became pregnant 4 months after TR with one open tube the other has adhesions from endo and I went on clomid just one cycle. I was determined to beat it. I have not been real interested in becoming pregnant since, but think it's possible I am now so I just came to see what you ladies have been talking about. I'm an old timer here, I've been here since the beginning of the message board and let me tell you something I learned the more we obsess sometimes it hurts us worse, however after spending all the time and money to get this we want it to work quickly, Dr. Berger is the best and I adore that man so he will do everything he can to make it happen, then it's up to your bodies, keep your stress down. The month I stopped testing I got pregnant, but also it was the month after I got a HSG which happens to a lot of women they say it cleans out your tubes. It worked for me like a lot of others, not that it is necessarily true. God Bless all you ladies and I sure hope all of your dreams come true very soon. Kimberly

all women are different, but a few of us did HPT before AF was due, just by knowing when you O and that will be day 1 after O, some women show + within 7 or 8 days pass O, but most have to wait at least until 14, i did mine on a wednesday and AF was not due until sunday and i got a + but it was really hard to see, im now 6 weeks and 5 days and we got to see the heartbeat today, so it does take time. wishing you both lots of luck and feel free to ask anything you wish.Khadija

Hello all. I'm more of a reader and not so much of a participant but this subject really caught my attention. This is more for Khdija, are you saying that you actually tested before waiting to see if your monthly came? I had my surgery on 4/22/05 and waited for my first period to begin monitoring my ovulation. I detected my LH surge and have attempted to get pregnant. I'm not due for my next cycle until the end of this week but have been eager to test. I'm hesitant and think I should probably wait it out so save myself the possibility of dissapointment. Was your doctor surprised or is it common to be able to detect pregnancy with the home testers so early?

my TEMP went up to right before i got my ++, some test are hard to show up even if you are PG, your HCG # has to be up i think before it will show, if AF has not come do more HPT if you feel up to it, if not just wait it out or go get your blood draw, if its over 5 your PG, wishing you the very best, Khadija

I took A HPT yesterday got BFN. So I went out and bought FR it also came back BFN. Maybe I will test again after work. I am still having lots of cramping. Had fever yesterday 99 so I don't know what's going on. BTW I did see on preg reports that lots of ++++++ BFP with tube lenghts like mine.

my breast did hurt a little but now going away. i did feel and still feel cramps like AF is coming, if AF is due for you today and you have seen nothing, i say 'WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR GIRL?????" i would be at the store getting a HPT. wishing you the very best and please keep my up to date, sending you lots of baby dust, Khadija

Sorry I wasn't finished, hit the button. I have more questions. When you tested for BFP were you having any pregnancy symptoms? I am suppose to see Af today but so far nada, I had cramping pains in my stomach all night so I didn't get much sleep. Usually I don't have cramps unless I'm on my 1st flow day. So I guess we'll see what happens.

you can use what ever you think is best, but i did that one to, the one that said PG or NOT PG, well when i did it i got NOT PG and boy did that hurt, with not thinking i was PG i came to the board and one of my TR friends told me to try First Response, so the same day withing 30 min, i went and got it, did it the same day within 1 hour and there was my 2 lines, you could not even see the 2nd line much unless you really looked hard, but it was there, there was 2 in the pack so i took the other one and it to had 2 lines, went to the DR the next day and they said yes you are PG. i did the test on wednesday and AF was not due until sunday, so like 4 days before AF. i would say buy the FR, it worked really good for me, wishing you all the best, and please ask anything you wish, i will always be here. i tried right after my TR, after i had AF we really tried so hard, with DH not trusting the OP kits we BD so much until i did a HPT that said +++, i would say if you didt have the time to BD as much as we did then do the OP kits, lots of people use them and really love them, best of luck to you. my TR was 8 weeks and 5 days ago and im 6 weeks and 3 days PG, so do the math,lol. didnt wait long.sending you lots of baby dust,Khadija

Khadija, thanks so much for the support. Just to let you know I've been trying to figure out when to test for my O so we can TTC when I went in for consultation Dr. B showed my ultrasond about to release an egg. And since Af was 5/5/05 my O I beleive should be the 14th day I think I'm on a 28 day cycle but wont know for sure until 6/1/05 when Af should be due again. When did you first TTC? Hope to hear from ya soon . PS... CONGRATS ON YOUR BFP. That's so awesome. LISA C

sorry i just read you had your TR in may, welcome to the TTC. may 19 was only little over a week ago, im glad to see you up and talking. i see lots of people get PG with your lengths, just make sure you know when you O so you can do everything to get your BFP. i got PG the first try, i just had my TR march 31, 05. if you need any questions, just ask i will be happy to help you in any way i can. if you go to the PG report page you will see lots of women who get PG with your lengths, some even as little as 2cm. Have you had the TR yet? if not send your records to the office and DR B will go over them and tell you what he thinks. If you have not had the TR there is really no way to see how much you have unless you do the TR, it all depends on what kind of TL you had,what part they took from, just things like that. If you have or you can get your records from the DR that did your TL, just fax them over to DR B office and they will get right back to you. Wishing you the very best. Khadija

is that what you have left or what they took out when you had tl done? im sorry i cant help more but i do know if they took out that much most doctors like to see 3cm or less taken out but dont give up you may still be able to have tr done sorry i cant help more good luck
