Just my two cents worth - I live in GA and I saw that other doctor here too. He has done *I think* 500 surgeries - Dr. Berger has done over 5,000! That is a HUGE difference and a LOT more practice haha!!! Hope it all works out.

wanting a third i just want to say that ive researched that other dr and i came to the conclusion that if he has better results than why are they not posted on his web site dr berger has far more testomonials than he does and far more info on his credentials than that other dr and the bra and panties pic he wants that is a little disturbing becouse you can not determan weight by looking at a picture. dr berger is very good at what he does im very glad i chose him he is also very nice man and gives you all the info you need and answers your questions so that you can understand honestly.i hope this helped virginia
Glad you have so many great and informative replies. Mine is that it is not Dr. Berger's place to convince you why he is the best (though he undoubtedly is) It is YOURS to research why he is and make your own informed and educated decision. YOU are your own health advocate, not ANY doctor. And respectfully, it seems that it is a "no-brainer" on this decision. Any half-hearted research into the subject proves out one choice only. Dr. Berger. Research this and you will find the answer to your question without much effort. StephC edd:7-15-06

Dr. Berger has also been on Good Morning America, the Discovery Channel and in many magazines, to me these only re enforced my decision to have him to the surgery. I am now after 2years and a chemical pg and etopic heading towards IVF, but my surgery did work, my tubes were open and I did get pregnant. Thank you, Dr. Berger. Lowie

Wanting a third- I just had my TR yesterday a.m. & I am so glad I chose Dr Berger. He as well as everyone else in his office could not have been more kind. I was well taken care of & would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have this done. I found them on the internet along with other facilities, but I believe God kept guiding me back to their site. We came all the way from MN and I never had one regret making this decision. thanks to all of you--I feel more informed about Dr. B and about the KY dr. Yes I looked at him too but I am apalled at the bra and panties thing. Glad I didn't return his phone call!! There is a Dr. closer to me (In GA). But still Dr. B seems better, esp after watching the DVD. anyone looked at dr. in GA?

I dont know about this other doctor but I am glad I choose Dr.B and staff you can tell that they are very caring and concern with each patient.. And that says a lot to a person that is going in to the unknown to be treated kindly and well informed about everything to easy any stress and worry. I do believe Dr. Berger is the best. Since my tr I have been comfortable and not in any pain. This man is a blessing from God he and his staff...My exprience at chapel hill was the best and glad I went there.. wouldnt have done anything different but went sooner.... He has a genuine concern about people and that with his exprience makes him the best...and he is surrounded by the angels that work with him.. helping to correct our mistake and bring forth more beautiful little angels......JUst from my experience I would say you are in good hands......

I would like to add, Wanting a Third, that in addtion to everything else mentioned here, Dr. Berger simply has the most experience with tubal ligation reversal surgery. Experience equals expertise. His technique is proven successful time and time again, all the smiling babies in the pictures on our testimonial pages are the proof of that! I figured I'd add one more "smart" comment! If he wants a picture of you in bra and panties then he should send one of himself in boxer shorts. After all, we wouldn't want a doctor that didn't take care of his own health, right? Just a thought....
I am not Dr. Berger and by no means do I intend for this to be his reply. However, I believe that what makes Dr. Berger better is the fact that he "Truly" cares about his patients. He will not schedule you just for the fun of it! He thoroughly looks over all the info and will in turn give you an HONEST answer. If he feels that your tubes are not repairable and that IVF will be a better option, he will tell you just that. He takes his craft very seriously along with those who work with him on a daily basis. If you have any questions and/or concerns feel free to contact us. The nursing staff here is top notch and will do all that they can to alleviate any concerns.
