I just got through my second period post-TR..It was only 5 days, minimal cramps, marginal PMS and less heavy than it has been on day 2 after my TL! It was better than the first one so I am happy!

I personally had relief once having my TR. I've noticed the difference in my monthly, mood swings amongst other things.
But the TR was more than that to/for me. Although that is what I MAINLY set out for, which was RELIEF, the thought of being able to be pregnant just TOOK OVER any relief I was looking for...lol
So I received a double blessing. The relief I wanted & and ANGEL on the way. I'm now 23wks 1day Pregnant w/a PRINCESS.
I'm still floating & remembering it all as if it were yesterday....lol

I just had my first AF after TR. AF only lasted 4 days usually it was up to 12!! I only had one day of cramping and clotting, but maybe jsut because it was so close after surgery. I also think this was the first month i didnt have such mood swings!! I hope I have a BFP before nest af of course, but if not, ill be interested to see howwmooth it goes!

I had to answer the question about symptom relief. Sorry I am so late, havent been reading lately...
I immediately felt better after tr. I had my period the next week and NOT ravenously hungry and the cramps are no where near as bad as they were, also, I have not turned into a dragon like normal and the clotting seems to be gone. I cant believe the difference and I also cant believe I never realized that I was having a curable problem! I have advised all my daughters to never have their tubes tied!
that is what i was thinking.. but wasnt really sure, being it is infertility, and yet I will need a OB after a positive testing.. guess a OB would be best To be with me threw it all.. and can also keep in touch with DR.B after wards..
Now the scarry part.. calling.. LOL .. first step to a new begining, is always scarry..

Jenny - I would go to an Ob/Gyn since you are having symptoms that are gyn in nature. Any decent OB/GYN can request the FSH, Estradiol, Progesterone and any other applicable tests to access your reprodcutive status. I fear that if you try to explain all this complex stuff to a general family doctor you will continue to run in never ending circles like a gerbil on a habitrail wheel.!
Im thinking Im needing a OB/GYN.. I found a group that does: birthing options, infertility, Hormonetherapy, menopause, health screaning, general health, contraceptive care... That is in hubbys network.. Im just nervious about calling.. afraid of going threw all the problems again.. I just want a DR that will listen to me and my needs not what they think I need..
I want to find one that wants to help not just do surgery and remove things not needing to be removed.. If you know what I mean..

My primary care Dr.'s office did all my pre-testing needed before reversal. Dr, Berger's office faxed them over the test I needed and it was very simple. Hope this helps, Denise
