I am just as confused as all of you. I think if this was a problem that men had it would be covered. I would like to take some of these doctors that have that attitude and castrate them-then tell them it's all in their head!

Jenny H, exactly my point! my Dr. does and says the same thing! In fact I see a therapist once a month and she agrees with me, so we sit around for an hour and talk about how ridiculous my Dr. is! I am not saying that all Dr.s are out to make money, etc. but communication goes along way.

Cant Insurance companies see that Patients that have had a TL end up haveing many other medical Problems, and if it were reveresed, insurance companies and Patients wouldnt have to Fork out alot of money on nonsence stuff.. it would only seem to make since to me....
Someone who suffers from PTLS for 4yrs I have 39 of the 45 symptoms.. and they just want to keep giving me more perscription try something else, or want to do a complete historectomy, or call me carzy.... you need to see a Phycologist(more $$$)
The fact of the matter is..most doctor's don't think that PTLS is something real it is sad but ture,,I think DR.B is the only DR. that has study PTLS and know what most women have to live with..I know it is crazy but if most DR. don't think it is something real that we all have then the insurance company's will turn there cheek to us..its not fair and you have a good point and you know the insurance company's do things @** backwards anyway...

I am sitting here trying to figure out something. Reading all of these topics and threads, just shows how many women have been complaining about the same things....basically PTLS. Do the insurance companies know about these complaints? If not, should we start bombarding these companies with what we are complaining about? Wouldn't or shouldn't insurance companies be willing to cover the cost of TR's instead of paying for all these prescriptions our Dr's are giving to us? Or at the very least require these Dr.s to give us information about these "after symptoms" of a TL? The potential problems we could have? I know I've seen my DR. more in the last 6 yrs. then I have in my 35 yrs. of life including being pregnant! And I'm sure that costs the insurance company money!
