Tflowers, welcome to the board! Both of these ladies are correct. You will need to pay in full out of pocket and then submit your receipt to CNIC. You can call customer service and ask if the procedure code 58750 and diagnosis code 628.2 are covered under your plan. Be sure to obtain your answers in writing. Even if you can get the company to pay for some of it keep in mind you will need to pay CHTRC upfront out of your pocket. They do not do insurance. You will get a recite after the surgery and you would use that to get your money back if they would pay. But you have to file it on your own.

I can't help ya on this one...hopefully someone else will chime in! Although, most ins companies wont cover a TR... I see you are from Chicago area...I'm just over the border in Indiana!!!

Hello! I just started at my current job and my medical insurance is about to kick in and was wondering if ANYONE has dealt with CNIC Health Insurance? and if so, what's your experience with them? I am interested in reversing my tubaligation, but wanted to know if this insurance company would pay for any of it?
