KAYLA- YES I AM FLYING OUT OF SEATAC AIRPORT, AND HOW DO YOU FEEL NOW? HOW IS EVERYTHING GOING? I HOPE GOOD? I AM TOTALLY ALL WRAPED UP IN PREPARING FOR MY TR. I AM READING BOOKS, TRYING TO LOOSE SOME LBS., EATING LOTS OF BROCOLY, KEEPING MORE ACTIVE, SAVING MORE $, AND I COULD GO ON AND ON. WELL I AM GLAD YOU HAD A BETTER TRIP THAN YOUR HB, AT LEAST YOU ARE THE ONE THAT'S GOING TO GO THROUGH THE 9 MONTHS LATER ON SO AT LEAST TAKE ADVANTAGE NOW RIGHT,

We boarded a plane in Bufallo, NY and made the trip! We live in PA, but are very close to the NY border. Looking back, I would not change a thing. We are still TTC but do not regret our decision. The way I look at it, even if I don't get a +, I won't ever wonder "what if" later in life. TR 4-18-05

Babydream - We flew out of Spokane, WA. My TR was DEC 20th of last year. Traveling for so long was more uncomfortable for my dh and his bad back than it was for me after TR. Are you flying out of Seattle or Spokane?? Kayla

HI, I PLAN TO HAVE MY TR ASAP, WE ARE ALMOST DONE SAVING THE $... SO I HOPE THAT FOR THE END OF FEB. I WILL BE SCHEDULING FOR MARCH OR APRIL. I WILL BE COMING FROM WASHINGTON STATE, AND I CALCULATE A 6 HRS FLIGHT. THANK YOU ABOUT YOUR COMMENTS ABOUT WHAT HAVE WORK FOR ALL OF YOU AFTER THE TR IN ORDER TO FEEL MORE CONFORTABLE ON THE WAY BACK HOME. THANKS..... BEATRIZ

We are coming from central Michigan. We are flying and scheduled for May 20! My DH and I are both Registered Nurses, he in the OR and myself in Labor and Delivery. (How ironic that we hit both specialties needed). After reviewing all the information and of course DH wanted to watch the video, we were both very impressed. So, let me join everyone else by saying we thought Dr. Berger to be the best prepared to help us. We can't wait.

We came from Santa Barbara, CA. Obviously, we flew! It was about 9 hours. For the flight home we bought first class upgrades and it was WONDERFUL! My DF told the flight attendant that I had surgery the day before and they treated us like we were the only 2 on the plane. Kay, as always you very eloquently voiced the very reasons we chose Dr. Berger after 2 years of researching TR's. As a nurse that works in an outpatient surgery center (my DF is a scrub tech in the same center), I was skeptical of finding a surgeon on the internet. We have exceptionally high standards because of our respective careers working with several world renowned orthpaedic surgeons...BUT for all the reasons you all have listed and more, after contacting CHTRC, I knew that this was the ONLY place that would be even considered as an option for putting me back together. That's all I have to say about that! Laurie
