TY but I am out we do not have a truck and my poor DH has no real idea what he is doing with cars.lol. Around our house I am the one that does that. I am a tom-boy and my dad has always had me help him out with everything. I gave a 1967 Ford Mustang to my dad when I left my 1st husband. He has talked about saleing it.I do not see him doing so, we have been restoring it. Me I am bad for giving things away to people I know and see that need them, I had a washer, dryer, and freezer I could have sold and got good money for to go to the TR but along the way I meet people in need. So I give in faith and put my hope in the Lord that when the time is right it will all come together. I need to get out to the building and get clothes, toys and stuff out for a family that lost their home to fire this week.Boy I am a softy, shh do not tell any one. Miranda

We paid for the TR with the money we got from selling our rental house in NY. It had to go anyway we are in TN. There are 2 charity type things out there for this, but it's so sketchy you know??? I think the best bet if you are going to put money into it is to do the direct thing with Dr. berger.... The savings plan for it. You won't get taken for a ride that way. Try and time it around tax time. If your DH's are handy with cars. A good one is getting junk yard cars and fixing them to run. Lots of times, these cars will need an alternator or something dumb. You buy them for scrap price and fix it.... It's an easy way to make money fast. Or put an ad in the paper, buy junk cars. $50-$75 you can get cars for that way too. People are sick of looking at junk in their yards especially in cities where there are laws on how many cars you can have on your property. Where I'm from it was 3. If they are beyond repair, take them to a scrap/salvage yard and cash in you've got to call around to find out who pays the best... if you did cars every weekend and have a good truck and trailer that's another way to fast money. Miranda and Crystal honestly those are the fastest ways to get $$$ I can think of with minimal BS involved... Just make sure you get signed titles. Our truck is shot or we'd be doing it just for the extra $

Here's an idea. Someone should start up a charity group for those women who deal with PTLS that will help them pay for TR's!. That would be great wouldn't it?
I paid out of the pocket. Even if we still had insurance Im not sure if they would have covered it. My family physician is the only professional I have come into contact with who recognizes PTLS my OB at the time of my TR basically laughed at me when I brought it up and treated me like I was crazy. That is how I found out about it, I had strange complaints afterwards and she told me about PTLS and so I looked it up and was amazed, THAT WAS ME!! Anyhow, I don't care about the out of pocket expense, it is well worth it and I could have had a doctor at home attempt it costing probably double or triple the money and they don't know what they are doing. Dr.Berger is the best, he knows what he is doing, he believes in it and is successful. He is the only person I would every even think of going through this with and I am soooooo happy I did. I have been looking at this site or years, and just all of a sudden last week I scheduled it happened fast, it still feels surreal, I don't think it has sunk in yet that I actually did it!

I orriginally talked to my Dr. about trying to get a TR done so that my husband and I could have another child. He set an appointment up for the 29th of this month and said that if it were to be done, we'd have to make it a medical reason in order for the insurance to cover it. Now that i've found out about PTLS this just may be the key to getting the TR done. keep your fingers crossed because all my fingers and toes are crossed and We need all the luck we can get.
