Well ladies,I had my surgery on 3/31/08 and after the surgery I felt fine just a little soreness and yesterday I felt fine to but maybe I over did it because boy this I'm in alot of pain.I have been passing gas a little and I had my first bowel movement yesterday and it was painful.I have been taking colace every since I had surgery.I had another one this morning and it was fine.I take my pain meds on time everyday, but this morning when I woke up I had alot of soreness and my stomach felt heavy and bloated.I walk around a little and that seems to help with the gas and once I had my second bowel movement this morning my stomach isn't that sore and doesn't hurts as much,so I don't know if it's the gas or what.Katrina

Medicmom My DH went for a SA too before I had the surgery on 3-24-08. My doctor had me start charting some months before the TR as well and he looked me over good. So my DH says he should get me pregnant soon after we start trying, lol. He was so proud of the SA test, lol.

Ojzmom, I hope you are doing well. I had 2 c-sections with my little ones. The TR is easier than the c-sections were. I can not wait I get to cut my knots tomorrow and finally I can answer the tubs call for me to lay in the nice water, lol. Have a great day.

I had my TR done yesterday and know exactly what you mean about soreness. I am sure it will feel even worse tomorrow. I am usually good with it but I'll admit I did have to take the pain killers they provide you with. I had all of my children naturally and some say this is how a person that had a c section feels. I dont know but Im sure it will feel better soon. I HOPE!

Medicmom- Hey there, just wanted to add that I had TR earlier this month...I've charted regularly for over 5 months now (started charting before my TR to get familiar with my body and my cycles again) and after my TR...it did delay my 'O' by two days to be exact. I've learned alot in this 5 months however, I find myself still learning all kinds of new things out. I've learned to listen and take great advice from others and it's help tremendously! GL to you! Best wishes, Jo

We did the sperm count and motility before my TR and everything is great. He's very proud of his little swimmers.LOL Also we found through a herbalist this natural supplement called MACA. It increases the sperm count volume and motility. He started taking these a few weeks ago just as an added bonus. There is no harm and if it adds to our chances we thought , what the heck! Im also drinking red clover flower tea and of course taking prenatals and I do the evening primrose oil from period to O time. I think Im so afraid of having complications after a BFP that Im trying to do all that I can BEFORE we get the BFP. I know that none of it is in my control ultimately but I'll do what I can to help.

Woohooo! Every night!!!! YOU go girl! You go girl! ;D

The only issue that can be had with BDin every night is...If there is low sperm count, motility...ect it can reduce your chances of concieving. The only way to find out is threw a semen analysis. However if everything is fine then go at it! [Big Grin]

I am sure in May you will have that BFP!

I chart with temps. That is till after I heal. I have not had an AF or spotting yet after my TR. Maybe with you having it at the time of your AF played a role in how you have been feeling.

Medicmom,

I would advise you to continue increasing activity as you are ready. At the very least, keep walking! Drink lots of fluids. Try to add fiber to your diet to avoid constipation.

Many ladies have this sort of bloating aor a few weeks after surgery.

No I dont chart. I just know that I "O" 2 weeks after my period. Im never really off. I figured no need to chart cuz we arent going to miss anything...we BD every night. [Wink] I do keep track on a website (fertility friend). Im supposed to O I think it said April 8th but its to soon after TR so Im shooting (or DH is) LOL for the next O which is at the end of april beginning of may. Im thinking once I feel better we will just go back to our regular routine of everynight and let nature take its course. I will know in the back of my mind though, my approximate O time so I can keep track of testing etc...

TR might throw off O... I know the night of my surgery at the Sheraton...I was spotting when I wiped...I was in the middle of my cycle as well...I think I O'd on time because I got a "Peak" on my monitor and I had a + OPK while in CH. So you just never know....even if you get a + you can gear up and O at a later date.

Do you chart?

Well, today Im actually feeling pretty good! The incixion is not bothering me at all and the bloating seems to be half as bad as it was yesterday. I have to say, yesterday I felt huge and very very uncomfortable. Another funny thing happened with me...I was actually on day 1 of AF when I went for TR and it was like the surgery stopped it. Usually day 1 would be quite heavy flow but when I woke from surgery there was nothing and this went on for a day and then it just went to spotting. I have been spotting ever since. That's 6 days now. My period is usually only 4-5 days. WEIRD! I wonder if this is going to throw off ovulation etc... Either way, I guess I have to wait until AFTER my next cycle. BUMMER!

I had my TR 3-24-08. A few days before you. I am really no help here. I was a little bloated but nothing bad. This Thursday is day 10 for me and I am feeling great. Last Sunday day 6 after surgery was when I really started feeling more myself and wanted to get up and do things. I went to church and had a try at driving again before Monday got here. Monday of this week I started driving again and doing my normal days work, well everything that did not have any lifting. I wish you the best. Miranda
