Patty, I'm in the same situation as you. I have been wanting a TR for years, but at times I would get so frustrated and give up. I can not and Will not give up on hopes of becoming a mother again. Its not easy, but i'm cutting back on spending, working extra hours, doing fund-raisers, and trusting in God. Don't give up. Be encouraged

Patty if this helps I am glad. We cut cable, the phone back, stopped our cells when they ran out, many other things we did not need to live and be happy to save money. Also help when I made things at home for my husband to take to work instead of getting stuff out of machines. We could get a 6 pack of drinks at Wal-Mart for 3 dollars that were over a dollar a piece at work. Think small cause they add up.

ITs hard saving .. funny thing is The other day while out and about .. I got out of car and on the GROUND wasa QUARTER (one of the new ones) and it was a NC state quarter.. I have it tucked away as a reminder.. of GOOD LUCK..
I save penny's and change. I have change saved in many large containers.. hopeing to one day cash them in and have the money...
I know sometimes I can get down about it and feel like giving up and then I would turn to something else hoping that way might be faster but then I might lose more money...so for me its been a long hard road for me...

Patty, I know it's hard saving money, something always seems to come up. The ladies here have great ideas for saving. Recently I've started saving money for another type of fertility treatment and have had alot of success with ebay. I just gather up all the stuff around the house that we never use and list a few items a week. I've been averaging 200 a week that way with little effort. I hope that the money comes sooner than later and wish you lots of luck saving for your TR. Lots of Love Staci TR 3-7-06

The saving wasn't the hard part for me. It was the research and decision. I watched the website for 1 1/2 years. Then finally decided to go ahead with the TR. I sent a bank transfer. So I did save 100.00 off the 5900.00.

Patty it took us a little over 3 years to get the TR done. So hang in there. God just blessed this year with the money we needed and we were in CH for the TR on March 24-08. I wish you all the best. Miranda,NC ME-27 DH-22 DS-7 DD-4 TL-03 TR-3-24-08
