Hi Prayin, They didnt charge our credit card when we booked the room, so I doubt they would charge your debit card. You can always ask them, when you call to book. I think I asked the same thing.
As far as the room rate goes, I appreciate knowing that taxes are going to jack the price up another $10, we're driving from Ohio, so with gas prices what they are, knowing what to budget for everything is important :-) Someone may want to update the page that says the rooms are less than $86.00, I know the one page says that rate, but other page says it's less... just a thought :-) Only 11 days and a wake up left ... OMG!!!! Steph

Question..When we went online to make reservation it asks for our credit card number (which is actually our bank card) but the question I have is do they go ahead and apply the amount to ur card before hand or when u actually arrive? If so I need to move money from saving to our account because I dont want no overdraft!!

When I stayed back in September I opted for a suite which was awesome:) I think we paid $140 or so a night but the greatest thing was when we got back from surgery I could lay on the bedroom side and rest quietly while my sis'inlaw could watch tv on the in the other room:)

Hi nwinston~ I had ligation/resection with 1cm and 1.5cm removed from the tubes.
beebeekinsers~I too was greatful that they offered a discounted rate.
But for those that have a tight budget for the traveling part of the surgery, it is better for them to know that they will be charged $86/night + tax. That way they can have extra money available for the taxes that are charged too. Since we stayed 3 days it was an extra $30 that we weren't expecting, but we had extra money put back for traveling.. So it all worked out for us..
It is not accurate that the Sheraton rate changes depending on the season -- at least not for our patients. We have a contracted rate with the hotel and it is $86 per night. The rates are listed on the Accommodations/Where To Stay page of the website.

Hi Steph, I wondered the same thing when we were there, but I forgot to ask. I just thought maybe I wrote it down wrong off of the website here. I was charged $86 a night + sales tax and occupancy tax it came to $96.11 a night. So I'm not sure if maybe the $86 is the new fee. I don't know, but I wish you the best! Dawn H.

The hotel's rate for CH patients is slightly different depending on the season. That is why it is higher for the summer months. I'm just glad they are offering us a reduced rate.

Hi, The what to expect page says that the motel should be $72 per night, is that current? Because we're being charged $86.00 a night... Thanks Steph
