Ok so I just spoke to Rhonda and Monday appts ARE required to ride the shuttle. I know its not far from the hotel to the center but hey every bit saved in gas these days is great. Also it will give all the ladies a chance to talk and meet each other before their surgery. Jennifer TR 8/4/08

Miranda I sure hope your doing well after your surgery. I have a monday appt and in my paperwork CH sent it says I have to be at their office at 7am for my consult and my TR will follow, so with that being said I thought we would be required to ride the shuttle, but I have heard other ladies say that they had a monday appt and they didnt, I will call anyways and find out and then I will post and let everyone know for sure. I had a Monday visit and they told us we had to ride the buss on Monday because they wanted us all their at the same time and on time. So you may want to call and make sure about what they want you to do. Just thought I would let you lady's know. Not sure who has a Monday visit or not. Miranda

Louise/Shannon thanks for the info. We will be driving to CH its about a 4 hour drive I believe, I would love to use the shuttle but my husband is in the CH and Raleigh area all the time for work so he is determined that he can drive on his own MEN LOL! Anyways Shannon I totally understand what you meant about your stomach doing FLIP FLOP I still have 88 days and I get a lump in my throat and my stomach gets all weird inside when I talk about it, I guess because I know its the right thing for me and my DH to do, I am correcting the wrong I did to my body and trying to make it right and its what I am suppose to do. Shannon you and the others will be in great hands. I can still remember how excited I was to leave and drive to CH. We will be TTC soon and now we are so excited over getting the go ahead on that. I hope you all have a great day. Miranda
PS. I get car sick and that driver was wild, they gave me extra meds at CHTRC before the ride home when I told them of the ride there, lol.

Hi there... If you are flying in, you can arrange to have Janice pick you up at the airport. She brings you to the hotel,or in my case, to CHTRC and then brings you back to the airport the day you leave. I spoke to her on the phone...very sweet. Then we will just take the shuttle from the hotel when needed. They will take you anywhere in a 5 mile radius. We just thought it would be easier that way then renting a car and driving when we have no clue where we are! You know men and directions...LOL!! I am pretty much ready to go...JUST NERVOUS!! My husband just said a few minutes ago "Just think of where we will be in 1 week from now!!"...my stomach went FLIP-FLOP XOXOX Shannon

If I have this right she is the one that picks you up at the airport. It is a man that drives the bus to the center. I really wished after that ride we could have drove ourselves,lol. Miranda

Is Janice the one that will pick you up on your day of surgery and take you to CH or is she totally different? I go in on a Mon at 7am for my consult and then my TR will follow just want to make sure I do everything right!

I plan on having Janice pick us up, too. I have plenty of time left, but I will probably arrange for that in next few weeks sometime! So many things still to do!

Hi Jennifer... just trying to stay busy!! Making sure I have everything ready to go and everything done here. My mom and dad are coming to our house to stay with the 3 kids while we are away. We leave at 4:30AM next Wednesday for the airport, land in NC at 10:00, and Janice (Red Carpet Coach)will be picking us up at the airport and taking us directly to my appt at 11:00...Nothing like rushing!!! My head is spinning already!!! Going to go for a walk now. It is about 75 and sunny!! (Not bad for upstate NY) Have a wonderful day!!! ~Shannon
