Yes, I was also excited when I realized there would be someone else on the same day Since we are flying in from FL, we'll probably need to arrive on the 17th. I am also thinking about staying an extra day at the hotel because I'm not sure how I'll feel on the plane trip home.
Did anyone else fly home the next day or do you suggest I wait an extra day at the hotel?

Well, after much consideration, I got scheduled for a TR today! When you have a chance, could you please add me to the list? I am scheduled for June 19th.
It has been kind of a strange journey for me. I have been married to the same man for 17 years and we have 3 children together. I got a TL after the birth of our 3rd daughter. I knew immediately afterwards that I was unhappy with my decision, but figured that since we were finished, what harm was done? Well, like many of you, I began having all types of strange symptoms (very heavy AF, huge clots, pain in my sides, fatigue, weight gain, etc.) and found excuses for each new one that arose. I had no idea about PTLS and the ob/gyn who performed it, never mentioned anything prior to it that might have dissuaded me!!
As I began having the feeling that I would like the opportunity to have another child, and to correct the damage I made to my body, I found this site and your messages, and realized that I too have PTLS.
When I discussed the idea of getting a TR with my new ob/gyn, he insisted that if I really wanted one, I should go to a place that specializes in it. Well here I am, in the waiting room with all of you. I have to say, that I have appreciated all the caring, support and information that you all have so willingly shared.

Some do after their surgery but I did not. My cycle did not change either but some lady's started later than normal after their surgery. I wish you all the best.

Can anyone tell me- Did I read somewhere that there is spotting after surgery?? Also, I am due for AF 4 days after my TR. Does it change your cycle at all??? Thanks for any help!! ~Shannon

Hi hopeful, the last I heard Sweetdynasty hadn't actually scheduled but was planning to schedule for that date. Hopefully she will chime back in once she gets scheduled. If not, hopefully someone else with that date will join you on the list. Hey ladies hope your all having a great Thursday. I just wanted to check in and say hello.
Sweetdynasty I seen where you had a surgery date of 8-4-08 and then now your not on the list Im scheduled for that date and I was just wondering if you were still having your TR done?
Also I go May 12 and 13th for all my test and I was just wondering when I have them send in all the results do they need to attention the results to anyone in particular?

I had blood work and EKG done yesterday. You're right snookums it doesn make it sink that this is really going to happen. Good luck to everyone that's going in before me. And to everyone who has already been through it, keep posting updates, it's very encouraging to those of us waiting.
