What you eat and what you pick to put into our body. I am seeing a wellness doctor and I feel great.I went to see the doctor today at 8:30am and he says I am doing great. Thank you for your words. It should not be much longer. I have o'ed two times after surgery on my own. Once on each side. I hope things are good your way. Miranda
My measurements do not include the fimbria. The determining factor in deciding whether to repair short tubes is whether the segments are healthy or fibrotic. If the latter, I would not proceed but would instead recommend IVF.

Lady's all I can say is after my TR I have 2.5 on my Left side and 3.0 on my Right side. My doctor here says it has to do with how you take care of your self. And to really think about when is the right time after the surgery to start trying. I saw him this past Monday and he said that a little longer and my uterus will be ready to carry a baby. My ovaries are working perfect after the surgery. I wish you both the best.

Poohbear I believe there is a few on here that have had babies recently with short tubes. I know of one that is on her second TR baby. First one was last summer. Her tubes are 2.5 on each side. Maybe those ladies with shorties who have delivered the last few years will chime in and give you some hope!

Yes I know the feeling we r so excited about the surgery and I am also worried about the age as my mother had the change of lufe really early 35 in fact and I will be 33 in August!!..So we at least r gonna try and see what happens..We to just hope we have enough tubes to repair..I had the triple bipolar cautary!! BUT we have lots of faith this will work out and it sounds as if Berger is the guy for the job as my Husband says..lol

Thanks prayin4ababy. I'd think the same thing, but since I'm 38 years old I would think I already have that working against me. I'm really afraid that I'll have the short tubes working against me as well... I just don't want to end up with no baby because that is truly my hearts desire! I want a precious baby to hold so badly! I know that's why everyone is here because each of you does too, but I just don't want to get my hopes up only for it to never happen!

poohbear_bear ~ thats a question..I am going to have the lap done before my surgery on June 19th!! I never really thought to ask what he would be lookin for I just figured as long as there was tube there to fix he would fix it we want good lenghts but we will take whatever we can get as long as it gives us any possibility of a baby!! May sound selfish but thats just us.. Any chance is better than what we got now
I have been lurking on your board now for two years, but I haven't made the commitment to do this yet. I have a couple of questions. The reason I haven't scheduled is because I had a RE in Dallas Tx do the lap and he said that if I did have a TR I would only have 2-3cms of tube left. My first question is when you give lengths does this include the fimbria because his measurement did not. Also I don't see many pregnancies with tubes of that length, but I do see that you've reversed some that have been 1-2 cm's. What is the determining factor for you to proceed or not to proceed during a lap if that will be the remaining tube length. I know it's possible to GET pregnant with tubes that short, but I must say that I haven't seen many STAY pregnant with tubes that length. Actually in the last two years I think I've seen one and that was the nicoleandjason girl that had 2cms on each side. Before that it's been quite a few years since I've seen what I consider a shortie (3cm's or less) actually deliver a baby. Can you shed some light or at least tell me what you "look" for before reversing shorties!! Thanks in advance!
