I also would like to try for a little girl. I have two wonderful little boys who would love to have a little sister. I will be blessed if I am able to have another baby at all. I just want a healthy sweet little baby to hold in my arms.

I found a neat website that tells you what days and such are your best options for conceiving a girl throughout your cycle. Don't know how accurate it is, but it is kind of neat to take a look at. I want a girl too, but after what I have been through I will be more than happy to take another little boy (it would make 4 boys for me). Good luck at getting your little girl.

Jennifer, I'm in the same boat as you.. I would love to be blessed with any child, but it would be nice to buy some pink.. I have been doing so much reading on things and DH and I have followed through with a few and I'm currently in a TWW. So we shall see.. According to the one thing which is the Chinese Fertility chart, this is a month for us to conceive a girl.. LOL I know that if I do become pregnant that God will give me what I am supposed to have, but it was kind of fun doing some of the research on "wives tales".. One is BD just before Ovulation so that the majority of swimmers left are girls when the egg is released. (Shettles) I also read of foods to eat and to douche with a vinegar/water solution before BD because the acid in the vinegar seems to slow down the guys.. Who knows.. LOL But those are a few I found on the internet..

I am sure if you google it, you will have 9 months worth of reading material with all sorts of methods, positions, diets, etc...
Known facts... Male sperm are smaller and faster - get there first - but not much "staying power." Female sperm - slightly larger and slower - but last longer. So theory has it that for boys... need to time BD so that egg is released and ready to be met. For girls... need to time it so egg is ready to be met AFTER the boys succumb to fatigue.

Wow never heard of being able to do anything to get a boy or girl that would be pretty cool We have done decided "if" our TR works and we get pregnant we don't want to know the sex until we have it! My sister on the other hand told us when we get our ultrasound and if they can tell the sex have them call her from our cell and let her know she can't wait all them mths without knowing because she needs to start buying things.. But we'll see how it all works out!!

Hey ladies I am scheduled to have my TR on Aug 4, 2008 and my DH and I have 2 boys and we would really love to have a little baby girl, although another boy would be terrific I would love to be able to dress up a little girl. Anyways I was just wondering if any of you had ever heard of things to do to maybe get a girl. My DH says we should just "do it" and take whatever god gives and I at times agree but then at other times I would just love to try something that maybe would help get a little girl. I have heard of the shettles method but I dont know what it is or anything I have just heard mention of it. If anyone knows of anything to get a little girl and knows if it works, let me know.
