HI everyone i'm not real sure how this works or if i'm posting this in the right place but i just had to comment on this.Ihad my second hsg testing done today thinking that the sames news would come back.Well with the suggestion of dr.Berger sorry hope i spelled that right anyways with his suggestion to take a sedative before the testing the first time i had the test done no dye was seen flowing out into my tubes but this time both sides dye could be seen now i have some hope instead of hearing the same news. Just waiting on my dr. to review the ray and send it on to dr. berger to see where to go from there instead of sceduling second tubal reversal boy am i happy. my dr. had told me he didn't think both tubs would spasm at the same time so i figuerd the testing would come out the same so i just had to share this because taking something to relax you must definitally help i'm a beleiver.

posted May 27, 2008 08:50 AM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello Ladies! I just wanted to leave an update. I know that I havent been on the message board very much, but I am still trying to figure out how to use it. I had my surgery on 5-19-08. Everything went great! The day of surgery I remained pretty numb in the area and my DF woke me to give me pain meds every 4hrs. He was so awesome and attentive. By day 3 after surgery I no longer needed the Vicadin and only took the Ibuprophen. After I returned home around day 3 I started walking 1mile per day (i am a walker anyway) it helped to break up the gasses in my belly and today I feel normal (im back at work). I couldnt have chosen a better place or doctor to have my surgery. All of the nurses and staff at chapel hill were excellent and I would recommend them to anyone. My Df and I will not start trying until October because we get married on Sept 27th. After surgery Dr Berger even told me that he could see a preovulatory follicle on the left side and just as he said i got a positive with my OPK kit on the 24th right on sch ( day 14 for me) I love Chapel Hill and my Df and I are so greatful to Dr Berger , Dr Montieth ( who by the way is also very nice), and the whole staff at Chapel Hill. Thank You all for making this a positive experience for us.

Jessika I saw your post about being worried. I wanted to tell you I had 2 c-sections before having my TR done. Dr.B removed some of the scare tissue and was able to repair both tubes. As Shannon said he has to tell you what could happen. I will be praying for you as your big day gets here. I had my TR on 3-24-08 and the doctor told me last week that we get to TTC starting next week. We can not wait.
Tamara great news on working on sitting your big day.
SHANNON wanted to say Happy Birthday. What a week you are having. Surgery and birthday all in one. Maybe your late Birthday gift will be a BFP. I pray you have a fast healing time. Miranda

Tamara - That is great news! Congratulations! I too turned 36 this year. My clock is ticking loudly. I have a 16 year old son and 13 year old daughter, both from a previous marriage. My DH has no children of his own. There are several reasons I am having TR surgery, children are just one of the many.

Jessika, Didn't mean to put you in a panic!! I think Dr. B just has to give the worst case scenario!! I was in a panic too after he told me that...my DH told me not to worry and I guess he was right! Dr. B knows what he is doing!! I believe he is a miracle worker....a true angel! Don't worry!!!!
Went to the mall today to do a little shopping...celebrating my BIG 35 today!!! Think I may have over done it a little...got tired and had to go back to the hotel for a nap. But I definitely got the best present I could have ever received thanks to my DH, God, and the wonderful Drs and staff at CHTRC!!
To all waiting...you will be in the best possible hands!! No need to worry! PROMISE, and this is coming from the biggest worry wart ever!
Have a great day ladies...talk to you soon!! For us May ladies, we will have to start a Ladies May2008 thread...don't you think!!?? I have no idea how, or I would be happy to do it!!

Jennifer, you asked who's scheduled with Dr. M...I am, and Pennylane is also.
I just got butterfies in the stomach when I saw the "69 days to go" next to my name....
I watch Special Delivery and Deliver Me, and A Baby Story....all of those shows! I have given birth 4 times, but I'm still drawn to these shows. Every delivery is different.
I'm so encouraged by the ladies who have their TR and then post notes for us about how easy it was! So thank you for that!

Hello ladies. My name is Tamara from georgia, and I have been on here before awhile back and I just got a call about my operative report and its a go for me. My fiance and I are very excited. I have ds and dd from previous marriage and df has a dd from previous and we are having procedure done so we can have one together. I'm hoping to schedule before the end of the year, I will be 36 this year and I really want it done so we can try for a baby next year.
