Well congratulations to Snookums and all of the rest of the ladies who have just recently crossed over or is about to. I will say a special prayer for all pre and post TR ladies before bed time. I am not sure why I am not nervous or overly excited about my approaching date. Maybe being calm is good. I have just started AF and I am glad of that so I to should be ready to TTC next month. We just made the rest of our travel arrangements today, woohoo!! It was a difficult thing too, since my husband is wheelchair bound and if we were to fly into Raleigh-Durham there is a chance we'd de-plane outside (via stairs) and he'd either have to be carried down or use some sort of lift no one could describe to us. I'm a planner and HATE unknowns. So he's going to Richmond VA with his sister (who is going to the CH with me) and neice and renting a car. Its just EASIER lol.
So now I have tickets to take our boys to Oregon for the summer, my ticket to NC, dh, sil and neice tickets to NC, hotel and return flights. Soon we'll be planning what to pack, then packing, then flying. Can't wait!!!
I've even seen my doctor who is quite impressed with the changes I've made health-wise over the last year, running a long list of lab tests "just to be safe" and believes that over-all I'm fit as a fiddle and should recover quick, easy and have little trouble conceiving.
I'm mid-cycle now. There is a good chance I'll be entering my cycle in NC. So there is a slight chance I will get pregnant next month (plan to recover fully first of course though lol). That is a very sobering thought, brings it all home.
I wonder if I will be the only one there on June 23 lol.

Shannon- glad you made it there safely! Just try to rest tonight if that's possible! Tawnee, that's too bad we won't be able to meet, but we will always have a common bond, as well as all our TR sisters!
Jennifer, congrats on getting your bloodwork and EKG out of the way. I just have had so much going on at work that I couldn't get it done so soon. I am going on the 23rd to an OBGYN I haven't met before, and get my blood drawn. I hope this is a good Dr. I have heard great things...we shall see.
I am a little disappointed that there doesn't seem to be much chance of vaginal birth, if and when we have a baby, since I had a C-section. I thought it was pretty common to do VBAC, but doctors don't seem to think it's a good idea. On the bright side, no hard labor, no waiting for hours on end...I can live with it. All that matters is a healthy baby. Too soon to talk about this I suppose. There was a pregnant lady in the training I just completed, and I couldn't help but keep looking!

Hi Everyone!! Here in CH...it is very nice here. Went for my pre-op today...met with Dr. Berger, and the anesth. Sarah the RN is a sweety! I am first in the morning...I guess that is a good thing...more time to rest in the AM and hopefully feeling good by tomorrow evening!

Tonya I am fine! Thanks for asking. No nothing new really except well both of my boys are in spring soccer so I have that 2 nights a week now and on everyday sat its so cute to watch them practice b/c my boys are 2 & 3 its precious but exciting yes... especially when I look at the countdown everyday! I am so excited my stomach does flip flop and I still have 82 days to go, I am gonna be a ball of fire when I get to like 10 days or so. Im sure I will drive my DH crazy LOL. What about you anything new or exciting your way? Jennifer
I really can't believe it!!! Today I went in for my lab work, and to make sure that my OB/GYN was on board. I was so impressed with my GYN..she told me what my process will be once I believe that I am pregnant. She took down Dr. Montieth's information and is waiting for my feedback so that they in turn can tell other patients.
I too am on cloud 9.....my thought was next time I go to the doctor it could be because I'm pg.

Hey Tonya how have you been? Great I hope, I cant believe our time is getting so close. I remember when we were the first 2 to schedule with Dr. M! Its so exciting I finally went and got my bloodwork and EKG done @ the first of the week and its like it finally sunk in for me. I have been on cloud 9. Well I just wanted to say hello and see how you were doing!
Has anyone hear from want to be pain frr? I sure hope she is doing well.
