Lynngirl, Ms Licia and everyone who has had a TR baby with itty bitty tubes of 3.0 or less. Is there anything special that you did to become preg. I have 2.0 and 2.5, bought fertility herbs, CB fertility monitor, quit caffeine and diet soda and BD a lot. I don't think I'm overweight at 5'2" and 130lbs(but getting close)and at church every Sun. & Wed. I guess I'm just anxious

this may sound crazy but it has been since 10/25/2001 for TR so i can't exactly remember but my lengths are like 3 something and 4 something , 1 is blocked after ectopics .
Go to Home and click on forum and check out the pregnancy update posts and you will see a lot of ladies with short tubes pregnant. I'm so glad I didn't wait any longer to get the reversal done though. I'm so glad your doing well. Have a good day and I'll e-mail you tonight. I put a reminder on my phone so I don't forget.
Thank you for posting I have been wondering about you too. I Do worry some about my tube lengths. It is because I want so much to become pregnant. I know I need to relax and let life take its course. It won't happen if I worry all the time. So, from hear on out I'm just going to take a deep breath and let it go. On the other note how are things for you after the TR? Good I hope. They are here. Everything went great. Well, I will chat at ya later.

Toni welcome to the board. We met and had our reversals the same day. I was actually thinking of you the other day and was going to look for your e-mail address and send you an e-mail. Work has been crazy and when I get home I'm exhausted and forget to look for it. I would not worry about your tubes lengths. You are young and healthy. I just read on another thread of some woman who will be on the new pregnacy report this afternoon that had lengths of 2.5 on both sides and is pregnant. It gives us short tubers hope.

Xoli, First thing you should do is get your operative reports and that should tell what type of ligation you had done and what lengths were taken out if any then fax that in to Dr.B and he will let you know if you are a good candidate. Dr.B can reverse 98% of ligations and I believe TR is the better way to go because IVF is expensive and low statistics but with TR you get all the chances you want.I hope I answered your question.

My Dear Moms and Moms-to-be What do I need to prepare for my TR? Do I need to see my gynaecologist first for him to check length of my tubes etc?

Toni, Let me refer you to our 2007 pregnancy statistics report. This page includes our statistics by age, type of TL and tubal length. Good luck!
