Kay of all people I sure do know about snap days. This is what we are all here for. You can vent on me anytime sweetie. I am glad you had a great time in Amsterdam. I say I'm sorry Af hasn't shown but I would having some excitement about knowing IVF is just around the corner. I will PRAY hard for you this time is it. As always my hugs are wrapped around you in your time of need.
Well ladies I am finally packed and headed to Padre Island Texas for mine and DH's final move. Since he is on the road I am going it on my own this weekend. Needless to say I am excited and scared all at the same time. We can no longer afford California. A one bedroom apartment in the valley alone is 900.00 a month. By a crappy, run down house is 200,000.00 and if your thinking around San Francisco or L.A. easily 500,000.00. The taxes are eating us up and he is a owner/operator, so does FUEl ring a bell? LOL Jobs are very scarce and the recession is hitting hard here. I was born and raised here but I have to say bye-bye to my home state.
Emmie, the weather has been AMAZING! After the long dreary damp winter, the past week here has just been a dream!
DH and I spent the weekend in Amsterdam. It was a much needed getaway from the stress here. Yesterday we went to the Gaia Park near our home; sooo many baby animals everywhere!! A truly wonderful weekend, but now its back to the grind. I am teaching three classes at the end of the month, so have tons of prep to do.
Ladies, I am OK, truly. I have my days (sometimes my moments), and sometimes, I think I've just been at this far too long. You can only hear some things just so many times before you snap and the other day I finally snapped. I do hope that you'll forgive my harshness, though I do not recant the sentiment.
If prayer controlled pregnancy - there would be no need for birth control, nor would there be infertile women. Just my .02 worth.
AF has gone missing yet again - she should have been here Friday or yesterday. No clue what she's doing or why. Since I havent been temping or OPKing - I have no clue when/if I ovulated. Not too worried about it, as I'll do the Lupron shot next month to shut everything down in readiness for the IVF cycle. Physically I'm feeling OK, no sore bbs, nada. Though I wish that evil little voice whispering that I should go buy an hpt would just shut up!

Hi ladies. I just turned 40 on Novemeber had my TR last September and am now 12 weeks pregnant. I thought 6 months as a long wait and suffered 1 m/c, but I see many of you have been on this journey much longer. Emmie: I read your post and just wanted to say I don't think your idea of conception is silly at all. I actually read online about a woman who had her first baby at 45, second at 47 and became pregnant with twins at 48. If your ready to close the book that's fine, just make sure it's because of how you feel not how you think others will feel about you.
Debs don't worry, no hard feelings from me, as I said I just felt a bit weird. It is hard to accept the feeling of 'I will have to stop now'. You are the same year as me but towards the end so you have a bit of mileage left. Hope you strike it lucky.
Chris it is a real shame we live so far away from each other as I said before. I always felt a real connection with you, we could have met up otherwise. As we can't I send you big hugs back.
Michele hope you feel ok about your decision. Like me and Chris you will probably feel right cut up about it all but logic tells you to move on. I wish you the best of luck with your decision and hope you will find happiness nevertheless.
Kay long time no see (your posts that is). Hope you are feeling as good as can be. At least the weather has been beautiful. I suppose you just have not felt like coming to your computer but enjoyed the weather instead and who can blame you.
As I said I am now with the after TTC club but will check in from time to time. There are so many new names on here and I have not had the time to get to know you all. I hope you have a short and fruitful journey. Old timers best of luck to you all.
Hope your doing ok,I wish I has a potion we could take to help us get threw this.I thought I was doing ok but it seems like I'm more emotional when I see pregnant women and babies! Thank God for my DH he is my anchor,my strength and doing so much better than me and I've got 3 grown kids and he none! I go threw alot of ups and downs but again he is always there. We gotta find peace with this somehow,I wish ya the best and sending big hugs to ya lady! Chris
I haven't seen Kay here in a few days. If your reading Kay I know how your feeling. I just wanted to let you know you can be a ray of sunshine on some of my bleakest days. I just want you to know you are so appreciated here and I am sure all the ladies will second that.
It is so funny that I haven't been on the board in the longest time and see all these new ladies here. I just want to welcome and wish you all tons of baby dust.
Chris thanks for the welcome to Texas. I am moving to Padre Island/Corpus Christ. One of the TR girls has been a wonderful source of help. I couldn't be doing it without her. I love this board because sometimes it is like we are all sisters.
Emmie, Carmencita, Debs and Michelle it's so nice to see some of the old timers here. I guess I'mm not the only still TTC. LOL.
Kay, I hope you come back soon. I hope AF is not being too hard on you!

Katy, I don't know about the tubal preg. but, I do know that the older you get the risk of mc gets higher. That is wether you are 30 -35. But, older moms go on to have healthy preg. too. I had a mc at 32 and 33. I am now turning 40 this month. Best of wishes. Christie TR 3/13/06 NO bfp YET

Chris, Kay, Emmie, Anita, Carmacita, Debs and all the "old gang", to the newbies sorry I haven't gotten an opportunity to know you.
I have already past my "official/unofficial" date in my mind. It has been a rough 8 months, but, I have done everything feasible that I can do, I trust in the Lord with all my heart, mind and being. I need to let go and move on. As hard as it is to accept the Lords will in my life in the area, I have not gotten one BFP.
The heart ache I feel I know is shared by many of you. Truth, I am 45 years old and I guess my body is just not going to produce. I have had many dreams and visions of the boys my heart longs for, but, perhaps it is just my own will and not the Lords.
I am saying so long and God bless each and everyone of you on this journey! I will still read and be here if any of you need encouragement, I am a great cheerleader!
Kay - you are a true source of a warrior! Your wisdom and understanding and you perservance are such qualities that I admire.
