Jennifer (hopefulin2008), I too was so afraid of being put to sleep, OMG I could not stop shaking, I got really cold and the nurses were all so so wonderful! They asked if I was cold and I told them I think its just because of my being so nervous, one of them told me everything was gonna be ok, she then took in in to the operating room and they gave me some meds to get me relaxed and I started relaxing and was talking away and then I said Ok, I'm gonna go to sleep now...and then I was all done and in the recovery room. I didn't even get a sore throat from the breathing tube it was a very pleasant experience!! Things could not have gone more smooth! Good luck to you, know that you are in the best of hands!!!

I think the pictures are GREAT!!! I wish I would have been able to see pictures before I went, just so I knew what to expect- I love the pictures!!! They bring back wonderful memories for me too!

Thanks Berta for those great pictures! It makes me so warm and excited to look at them knowing I will be there soon. I am schudeling Friday and hoping to get July 28, 2008. I am scared to death not of the surgery or the pain afterward I am terrified of being put to sleep but I have read on so many threads that this is a normal feeling with alot of women and that on the moring of the surgery I will have all my fears relieved when meeting everyone, I sure hope so LOL I cried all the way from the exam room to the holding room when I had my TL first surgery for me and I was scared to death I wish I had just got up and walked out but I didnt and hear I am and the Lord will protect me! Anyways didnt mean to go on and on but again thanks for those beautiful pictures. Jennifer in NC

I could not agree with you more Lori! Lots of great memories. Although we were all medicated, and cut open; what a great Gift Dr B and Staff helped us achieve!! We are well on our way! Looking at the pictures gave me such a comforting feeling knowing we made the right choice flying from Nampa, Idaho to CH, NC! Wow, I cannot be more thankful to all of them!!!

Berta what a great idea it was to share these photos, I hope they will allow us to continue to share with our TR sisters and TR "Newbies" our thoughts and experiences there!!

Okay..hopefully this wont get deleted. On a thread, a sister was asking if anyone had photos of CH because like alot of us...she didn't take her camera. So I posted on there the pics I had of Ch, that I had come across on prior threads. So I'm including the link here to get to the pics...
