I have my appt on April 1st and will be just under 27 weeks and start mine every two weeks thereafter so I think its just according to when your appt falls in that time frame. I'm with you, it seems it'll go faster then huh? YAY!!!

I just have a question for you ladies... My next appt isn't until April 14th, I go in for check up and do my glucose testing at that time too. I will be 27 weeks and 1 day. After that appointment will I then start my every 2 week appointments? Let me know when you ladies did and if that is more less when I will be too. I babysit an 8 yr old girl and her mom is 4 wks exactly ahead of me and she goes in for her glucose test on Thursday, she will be 28wks 4 days by then, and will start her every 2 wk appts after. I am just curious, it makes it all seem so much closer once you start mentioning the appointments being closer together. KWIM! Just a bit anxious again! Gee! Hope you are all doing good. Any exciting plans for Easter? Our boys will be going to their "other" house tomorrow and spending Easter there, BUMMER!!! so no big plans for us, we are though getting together at DMIL with DH family and having a dinner. Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!!

Hello girls how is everyone? I haven't been on here for awhile. We'll I'm 24wks 1day, I go to the Dr. tomorrow @ 4:10 not looking forward to the scale. [Frown] I swear I've been eating everything in sight! I especially have a sweet tooth. Kellie I'm glad the prilosec worked for you I know if I didn\'t't have that I would have gone insane. My DH best friend had thier baby yesterday a little boy 5lbs 8oz they had to do a c-section because she had placenta previa, but they both are doing fine. DH also picked up our crib, we have a changer/dresser & a BIG comfy rocker/recliner on order. I order his bedding and room decor on-line. His room theme is trucks its sooo cute. My DMIL & DH family are throwing me a baby shower may 17th & my mother is throwing a shower for me may 20th. I just can't wait to get everything put together & ready in his room. So far Right now his name is going to be CODY Charles. Unless something else comes up that we can both agree on (but I doubt that).:0)
Hope everyone & thier baby or babies (michelle):0) are doing good.

Take care
[Love] Juanita

Well girls went for my follow up yesterday and my doc put me on a pill to help control sugars. Have to go back next week and if they are still high he will up it one time but that it then on to insulin. They were still high after breakfast so it isn't looking so good. He is already pushing c-sect because the baby is measuring 33 weeks and I am only 27 and 3 days. I guess we will see. I am really scared. I have never had one and I know they are routine but I don't think he should say that until we try labor. Isaiah was 8lbs and 4oz 2 weeks early and I had him just fine. He was out in 3 pushes with an epidural so I think there is some room there still.
Take care all and I will update soon.

Hi guys. Drs appointment went well.. although I had gained another 5 lbs. That brings it to a total of 38 pounds so far... eeeks! But teh dr said it was fine.. just divide it in half for each, she said.
The babies are great, we got to see them for a few minutes (I will post pics later). Cercix and everything look great... so all is well!

I go back in 2 weeks for a growth ultrasound and have my glucose test then (blechy!!!)

HOw is everyone here?

Hello Ladies...

Things here are also doing good. Michelle, I too dread the scale, although you have the excuse of carrying 2. DMIL had been wanting to do a baby shower too. She actually mentioned it a few weeks before we were to find out what we were having. She said we should have one as soon as we found out... I thought it was a bit early so no plans as of yet. With my previous pregnancies, I had my baby showers about 4-6 weeks before due date. But now I'm even more eager since she was to begin with. How fun!!!

Well, I hope everyone has a great week! Take care of 'em babies!

:infant: :hearts:

Kelli, thanks for keeping us alive here!

A shower sounds like fun!!! I hope you get lots of goodies.
I just found out that the girls here at work are throwing a surprise shower April 10, the day before I am out and working from home.

And yeah, i have the sprouts of daffodils too! I cant wati for spring and summer.. and fresh tomatoes!!!

We have another drs appointment today at 3.. I cant wait to see how the babies are doing, but dread that scale!

How is everyone else?

Shirley I had to go on insulin with my tr baby and it was actually a relief. it is so hard to keep you sugar under control and the insulin just helps you out a little. my biggest fear was that i would have to stay on insulin after she was born but she is 2 1/2 and i am fine. my blood sugar regulated itself the day after she was born. the needles were nothing. i would rather give myself the shot than stick my finger that was brutal.well good luck and just think it wont be too much longer

Oh Heartburn is GONE! POOF!! Dr told me to try prilosec..wow..wonder drug! I mean it is completely gone!

My family is planning a baby shower for me on May 10th. Its going to be small but I'm excited. Dh and I registered and that was a lot of fun too.

Good Morning Ladies,

Just wanted to share with those of you possibly considering having a VBAC; a friend of mine who is a practicing doula is a great supporter shared this link wit me. Although I have not yet visited the sight, I hope its helpful and wanted to share with you all! Of course you were one of the first sets of women I wanted to share it with. She just recently attended one of her patients births who had a VBAC and successfully delivered Vaginally a 10lb 2oz baby and both mom and baby are doing great! Here it is, hope it helps!
