babydean - We had a lady on our board - Sept 06 - with shorties on both sides and got pg the first month out. It can happen with short tubes. Her TR baby should be one shortly...

I have a question Dr. B "created" a tube for you? I recently had the TR and only had one tube to work with my length on R 3.5. Maybe this is a Dr. B ? but if he can do that and even with your case he only inserted one why not the other side. I know it only takes 1 tube but if our chances are higher with 2 tubes, I am curious why he wouldn\'t't implant both?

Babydean - It's Marissa from the March 07 thread....I only have one tube and it's 4cm and Dr.B actually implanted the tube into my uterus as there was nothing left to put back together so to speak....and I'm currently 18 weeks and 1 day pg. So not only am I a short tuber but I'm a one tuber and it happened for me.

Babydean, As long as your tubes are open you have a good chance to get pregnant! 4.5 is a nice decent length I think. I have 5 on each and have a tr baby. Alot of Dr's don't see too many of us tr patients and are skeptical. My Dr. freaked out when I came in with my +.
