I haven't posted anything on this board since Oct 04 when I had my tbal reversal done.

Anyway, this is for the ladies that may be losing hope.

I had 2 children before my tubal. I regretted having the tubal the moment I woke up from surgery.

Anyway, life went on with my husband and 2 kids until I had the urge for a third child. That is when I went to Dr. Berger. He was able to reverse one tube and it was a short one. I believe 5.5 cm.

After trying unsuccessfully for about a year I went to 2 different RE's who were skeptical about the reversal and stated that IVF was the only way to go.

So after 2 tries with IVF the RE came to the conclusion that my ovarian reserve was quite poor and the chance of even conceiving naturally was less than 5 percent.

So I gave up.

In 2006 we started an adoption process with Ethiopia and we brought our son home just last week.

But 1 week prior to going to Ethiopia I found out that I was pregnant with a home pregnancy test! I went to my OB and every other day my HCG levels were more than doubling.

When I came back from Ethiopia my pregancy was confirmed with the sac in the uterus and a heartbeat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So now in 2008 I went from having 2 kids to 3 to soon to be 4!! My due date with my new addition will be Nov 12th.

I am sooooo happy that I have the joy of my growing family!!

This taught me not to let anyone discourage you into thinking it can't happen because God has His timing and His reasons.

P.S. I will be 39 years old when this baby is born so I am not a young chick either!!!!
