I have a question..Af came this month on time to the day but very heavy. I was on vac in MB shopping and had to immediately get back to my hotel, It was that feeling like when your water breaks only it was blood and by the time I reached the hotel my pants and the seat of my car were covered. It's not unusual for me to be heavy but I thought that seemed extreme and my DH was surprised also. Well af went away after my normal 7 days but my BB's are still sore and I am 4 days past. Could I be pg? Or should I chalk it up to just a bad month? I am also feeling tired but that can just be coming back to work from vac and the fact that I work 3rd shift. I hope these questions don't seem stupid, I just feel very different this month.

Just wanted to first say, christbride I am praying for you was out of town last night so I didnt get the posts till today. Ok--last month I was 6 days late, 2 weeks prior to that I had sore bb's, very tired, and just not all there. Took test and very faint line, took a total of 15. never got darker. when I went to dr. she took same test Not Blood draw. Came back neg. Which I knew it would. 2 days later, I started to bleed, not normal, usually I start of spotting the first day than next day med to heavy, this was heavy from start, dark, lots of clots. I bled for 8 days, and I honestly believe I miscarried. and so does dh. So all you ladies, who are testing neg. but having all the symptoms I was having, go with your gut feeling, try to get a blood draw asap, I was very sad, yet also glad to know I can get pregnant. I hope this helps.

christbride, I googled and found "privatelabtesting.com". I called and checked to see if they have a lab they use near me (which they do,and it is the one my Ins uses too, so bonus for me!)I paid them by c.card $60 for a Quantitive blood draw, and they emailed me my confirmations. I am going 1st thing tomorrow morning. The lady I spoke to says that results are back within 24 hours, sometimes as little as 8 hours. Much better than having to work around my DR.

This is what was posted in regards to finding a lab to order your own HCG tests:
Hi, This might be a help to those of you who have doctors who won't 'get with the program' and order your HCG tests when you need them. This was a concern for me because I have read about dr's who said they would follow Dr. Berger's pregnancy protocol and then when the time came they said the tests weren't necessary. I don't want to risk my life because a dr won't listen so I did a little research and found that you can order your own HCG test without a dr's order. Just Google "direct-to-consumer medical testing service" and there are several labs that will let you pay online, go to a local lab for the draw and you have your results within 48 hours. I found one for as low as $79. Then you can go to your dr. for your ultrasound at the appropriate time. This is a comfort that there is a back-up plan available and no need to wait for an appointment or argue the point. Baby dust to everyone!

grateful, I have been having the same things as you for about 2 wks now. 1st week, cramps, etc, like AF getting ready to come. This week, no AF yet...I am on cd35...and have been feeling "weird". Cramps are gone, but just this achy, uncomfortable-like feeling in my lower abdomen, like during AF. Cranky, short temper, emotional. For a few days, I slept around 12 hours as well. Yesterday was the first day I crawled out of bed before 9:30 (which is late for me). I have taken several PT tests, including a digital one today, all negative...but with my son I had several negatives until I actually went to the doctor as well....I just called and scheduled for tomorrow a Quantitive HCG thru the online lab scheduling that one of the other girls posted about, so we will see!
