NO! I'm not hoping that I'm pregnant because I'm not ready! I have to have surgery first and I would just like to enjoy NOT being pregnant for a while but if we're gonna have another one we have to do it in the next 5 years, I think. DH says that Randy wants a brother but I asked Randy and he said he LIKES having all the attention.

Yeah I think I would if I were you. Just to be on the safe side. Because you'd hate to have the test run if you by chance did get pregnant. I think that the NSAIDS are more for reducing inflammation than thinning blood, althought asprin is in the NSAID class so they may all thin your blood to some degree. I googled my "theory" last night and it said that asprin was the least effective at reducing inflammation of the fallopian tube lining. I'm taking script Naproxin and hoping that it'll do the trick to open my tubes up enough to avoid another ectopic. I think this month will be our last month ttc. My husband is going to be leaving for Iraq and we'll probably just do IVF once he gets back home. If I understand it right it's a 2 yr contract so I have at least a yr ttc break to look forward to before he'll be able to come home for a vacation.

Hey, Staci, I thought that we read somewhere that aspirin was supposed to HELP because of it thinning your blood so if Advil and NSAIDs thin your blood, wouldn't they help? Just wondering...
I had unprotected BDing again but I don't know if I'm even ovulating. I have another ultrasound on Thursday but still haven't heard back on my MRIs so I don't know when my surgery is. Do you think I should do an opk to see if I'm ovulating yet???

Today is CD18 and finally a positive OPK. Hopefully I'll O tomorrow. We've skipped bding for the past couple days but will probably try tonight and then for the next 3 days. i'm going to go ahead with the naproxin, the worst that'll happen is another BFN, like I haven't already seen a million of those. I need to run get the kids from school. Hope you all are having a great day.

Hello ladies...af is just about gone for me..thank god...she has been a real tough witch this month!! I have my surgery on Monday and then I'm gonna focus on loosing weight over the summer then try again in the fall. Staci...I did hear that to about the advil...maybe because it supposed to thin your blood and make it harder for the egg to implant....I think I read that somewhere. I hope someone else chimes in on that. In any case I really hope its what you need as well!!!
Well I hope you all had a wonderful mothers day!! I better get my housework done. Michelle cd 5

Christie, Did you O yet? I ran out of OPK's so I haven't tested today yet, but myhusband is on his way home from work now and he's stopping by to get me some more. My OPK hasn't been positive yet but it's getting darker everyday. Today was the first day of ewcm. I took naproxin just to try my theory out. Maybe it's the magic pill I need to work things out. Is anyone else testing anytime soon?

Staci...I never had heard this before I had my TR and what I heard that it can interfer with Oing...now who knows if this is true. It would not hurt the fertilize egg...so me thinking out loud here..if you take it and know you are Oing..like all the signs + OPKs....take and see. You could always ask Dr. B too and I am sure he would give you the best answer. Makse since to me though!!!. Good luck girlie!

OK, I have a question if anyone can answer it would be greatly appreciated. I know that everyone says you shouldn't take ibuprofen while ttc. But why? I have the inflammatory disorder where my tubes are inflammed so if I can take ibuprofen or naproxin, they're both NSAIDs and would help with inflammation , my theory being that if my tubes weren't swollen then maybe the pathway for the fertilized egg would be better and less chance of ectopic happening again. So is ibuprofen that harmful to Ovulation? Thanks in advance for any advice, because I'm finally getting ewcm and think that I'll be Oing soon so I was going to try taking some ibuprofen or naproxin to see if it helps. Ughhh.....it used to be so easy to get pregnant.

Seli, those are great pics. I remember now why I quit using OPK. I hate these things. I told myself that I'd try them this month just to see but they're so confusing. I'm just going to call it quits on the OPK's and BD until I think I'm past O time. I took one yesterday that was about half as dark as the control line so I thought that maybe I was gearing up to O and would get a positive today or tomorrow, well the test I took today just barely had a test line on it. So either I surged yesterday after I took the test and the hormone levels are already decreasing or I'm not Oing yet. I haven't had ewcm so I don't think I've O'd. Plus I usually O around CD 18 and today is only CD 14 for me. This cycle seems to be going by fast. Well it's early I'm off to do my housework so I can work in the yard today. I hope you all are having a great weekend.
