Hi all I got mine yesterday, which was great because I only ordered it at 3 pm the day before. I bought enough sticks for 4 cycles, so lets hope I dont need to buy anymore!

WOW Karen! Congratulations! How excited you must be.. I'm just using the monitor to get an idea of when I O, I don't really want to temp and chart, so I will try this for a few months and see what happens. Thanks for your response and have a happy & healthy rest of your pregnancy.. Take Care, Dawn H.

Hey everyone. It is exciting hearing that so many of you are using the monitor. My TR was 1/10/08 and my cycles are long. My first month TTC was very hard, the charting, taking your temp and trying to read and understand the OPK was too much for me. For my 2nd month I got the Clear BLue Easy monitor off ebay and it was great!! I got my BFP after using it only 1 month and I am now pregnant. My LMC was 2/27 I got my BFP on 4/2 and I am due in early December. Best wishes to all and lots of babydust!!! Karen M ME 27 DH 26 DS 9 TL 2002

Thanks ladies for the great advice! Guess my monitor got lost in the mail yesterday, because it didn't arrive.. Another quick question and maybe someone already answered it and I overlooked it, but can you start using it mid-cycle or should I wait until next AF? I just had TR 4-11 already had AF and getting close to O. DH and I were going to wait for a month or so, but I'm sure this isn't going to be as easy as it was for us 11 years ago.. LOL Maybe we will get started right away... My GYN told me yesterday "Don't waste this cycle, your are about ready to O and you are not getting any younger" LOL GEEZ thanks.. LOL He had me laughing the whole appointment.. Thanks again, Dawn H.

I think the monitor is great! I have had mine from day 1 and love it! I also temp and opk as well.
In addition, i have on occasion only gotten one low, two high's and then a peak..really fast. So every month will not be the same as far as your lows/highs. Also...you can Ovulate the first day you get the Peak. So as the others said...make sure to BD on all Peak days!
After using it several months, I stop feeding it sticks after the day of High following the peak. Too costly. Also...after using for months, it will start to ask for a stick on CD 8/9... I wont feed it till 10/11.... Refill sticks you can get a great bargain on those on Ebay with shipping included for under $30.00

I have been using my monitor since October. I have had 2 BFPs, one in Dec and one in March.
When setting up the monitor, make sure you set it at a convient time for FMU. You can test three hours before and after the time you set it. Example: If you set it at 10AM, you have from 7AM till 1PM to test when it asks for a stick.
The monitor is great because after it gets to know your system it will give you advanced warning 'Highs' to BD on before your Peak. The monitor picks up your LH surge as well as your Estogen surge right before you O.
However, like Traci has said, Make sure you BD on the Highs as well because I have had it skip a Peak on me as well.
I still use OPKs and my monitor to comfirm. BUT I am obsessive like that!

Also, consider yourself fertile as soon as you get a high, I never did get a peak in 3 cycles, but did get my BFP! BTW, I think most people do get a peak, just be aware that it can happen -Traci EDD 10/14

I used it and liked it. I never got a BFP and come to find out my tubes were blocked and I had no hope anyway, but I was ovulating. You do use it everyday. You set it the first day of AF and then look at it every morning at the same time to see if it wants you to pee on a stick with FMU. A couple of things - sometimes it tells you to POAS even after it says that you've peaked - you can skip those days to save sticks. Also, it says to only use sticks out of the same package each cycle - I didn't find this to matter, only cost more. I hope this helps.
