bostonlass I am glad to hear you are doing well. I had absolutely no symptoms of anything after TR and now I am self diagnosing everything! LOL. I do have nausea and for all I know I ate something bad last night! I am having cramps as if AF is coming and nothing.

How long have you been married? I do wish baby dust to all of us in the near future too!

Hi ladies mind if I join? I had my tr on Apr 21. Starting on recovery day 3 I have had intense nausea and after calling Pam yesterday we figured that it isn't due to the surgery so I am home from work today waiting to go to my pcp to see what the heck is wrong with me. It's so frustrating because other than not being able to smell food, drink my beloved coffee or eat a good meal I feel great. The pain is totally bearable now and I'm not taking even tyelenol anymore for it. Sure it stings and pulls every so often but other than that nada.

One other symptom that I got soon after the surgery was the worst yeast infection I've ever had in my life. I got monistat 3 and finished that last night with no sign of relief in sight yet so hopefully the pcp can fix that while I'm there. Nausea and a rip roarin' yeast infection is not condusive to romantic feelings so that's putting a damper on my newlywed status [Frown]

Sprinkling baby dust to everyone out there!!!

It is getting the best of me and I did get a test at lunch time. Of course it was negative. I spoke with a doctor at my job and she said it may still be to early to tell. She said I should not test until the day I should have gotten my period and then if still negative I should test 3 days after the date it was due. She also says that the nausea and the cramping could both be a sign of pregnancy. AF is due by Friday so wish me luck guys!

ojzmom~ you have more patience than me.. LOL I would have already been testing.. [Big Grin]
Hopefully this is it for you!

Sandra~ Thanks for your response. I am convinced that it is due to lower back pain now. I have taken it easy the past 2 days (I uaually work construction with my DH and have been working out in our yard)but I've taken a few days off. LOL Well I feel better than ever today. Only thing I notice is that I feel a little pain the longer I set up straight at the computer. I've lost 25lbs over the past few months. I still have a bit to go, but I think the harder I work at it the worse I feel. LOL

If I am clear for next month I think I will have my PCP schedule some tests on my back when I'm due for AF. That way if I do get AF then I know I'm not Pregnant and if I don't get AF then I will cancel the tests.. LOL [Wink]
Have a great day everyone!

My breast are usually sore too b4 AF, up too a week ahead of time. I hope your cramping goes away, but just think you will be closer to TTC. And since you just had the TR it may take a month or so to heal.
Dawn - for a long time I had bad lower back pain. Especially if I was sitting on the floor I couldn't stand up straight for 30 min or so. I went to a healer in Mexico( I know sounds strange. I didn't believe it but DH sent me.)and it was gone for the most part. I do notice when my weight goes up it starts to hurt a bit. But no abdominal pain at all.
Have a great night!!

Ugggg! I am having extreme cramping today. This usually means that AF will arrive within the next day or so. Well I guess I will have to try again next month! The funny thing is that my breast are usually always sore around AF time. This time they are fine.

Alot of women have said after TR, AF does come a few days early, I am hoping mine does so I can start working on TTC. LOL The only person who doesn't know about my TR is my mom. She would think I am crazy too and worry constantly. So my sis and I decided if I become PG to tell her. No need for her to worry. About PTLS I do have some symptoms, but not enough to make me feel crazy, just iritated. Dawn- I think we all ramble. It is the thoughts that pop up at any minute and we have to tell someone. I looked on Ebay for a monitor also. Instead I said for the first two months I am going to use CB easy ovulation sticks. I have also been temp charting for three months. I just want to relax the first months then work hard.

Hi ladies..
I have had a left side pain prior to TR (about 8 months now). I have had so many tests done and my PCP can't figure it out. We thought maybe I had more adhesions that was holding down the left ovary again, but Dr. B didn't see that that was the problem. So, I'm back to square one, but I have just about run out of ideas on what it could be. My GYN seems to think that the lower back pain I often have is causing "reffered pain" to the abdomen area. I know the longer I sit the worse it hurts. It's almost like a toothache pain in the abdomen. So my pain is still here and I was hoping it would be gone after TR. Oh well, can't have it all.. LOL I guess I will check into the back issue and see if that is it.
And Sandra I'm so glad you have your doctor on your side too. It is a great feeling.
ojzmom~ only you can decide what is best for you. I know I learned that the hard way. I had my TL because family thought that was best. Well after years of PTLS and $$ for TR I finally set my life back in the order it should have been in the first place. I wish you the very best!
Have a great night ladies..
Sorry to ramble, but maybe you have a suggestion on what in the world is going on with me.. LOL

Sandra I am still sore when I sit in the upright position for a long time. I am glad you have a great support system! I have my DH and kids but the rest of my family think I am crazy. They think because I have finally landed a great job and have opportunity for advancement I should just be happy with the kids I have and forget about another baby. The problem is that I cant and wont!

Dawn - I know how good it feels to have your DR's support. Mine is a female OB/GYN who is 50 and had her 1st child at 42. I have given her the protocal as well and she says I will be amazed at the difference now at being PG and 12 years ago. She wanted all my ops records and a copy of the PG protocal as well. I did go for my regular check up right before my TR and she said all was well and don't worry about being 37. For me 37 seems ancient, but with advances in medicine women are pregnant alot later on. I also have my DH support and my sister's support on anything I decide. The only problem I have had after TR is a little soreness on the left side. It is not bad, but noticeable when I sit. I do go back to work tomorrow so that time will pass a little faster to get to O day!!!
Everyone have a nice day!
