194 WOW!!!1 I think the highest I have seen with my girls is 178--- your baby is a mover!!!!
I think it would be AWESOME to record it and send it to family on the computer or however you can.... It should be here before mothers day [Big Grin]

Traci - you have the girl and I'll have a boy [Big Grin] I think this one is a girl and that makes 4 four me and one son... I think we are really good at making girls (lol)

Lots of Love,

Hey Krys- sorry you've had such a rough time with the techs, ughhh. I'm likely to have gestational diabetes too, but doc won't be officially testing me until 27 weeks. Good luck for your colposcopy, how scary!

Heart rate has been consistently in the 150's or very low 160's. I'm hoping that means girl, but I looked through some buried paperwork from my last pregnancy and his heart rate was also in the same range throughout. I don't know what it was for my first three though, so I'm hoping all my babies have that rate no matter the gender lol. If we can't tell gender from the big US, I'll be scheduling a 3D/4D one and pay for it myself- I'm getting anxious to know!

Have a great day ladies, Traci

Becki--as for your question about the doctor. Yes, the doctor did come in and review the u/s, and actually had to take more pictures and measurements because some were missing, and some weren't done correctly. I guess though that the doctor didn't think to look at the name on the u/s because who would honestly think that the tech would mess that up. I do know that the doctor had my records, and after looking over her set, she said everything looks great. I didn't think to ask for the 3D/4D u/s though. I don't know if they're machine has that capability. I am happy just getting another u/s this coming Monday, though. I also have another one scheduled for June 24th due to the gestational diabetes. They want to do a fetal heart scan and measure the baby then due to the diabetes. We'll just have to see how Monday goes. I also have a colposcopy scheduled that day for an abnormal pap. They will just be looking, not doing anything evasive, but it still makes me worry. I've had some pretty good contractions lately, and went into preterm labor with my last two, so I hope having the copolscopy doesn't cause any ill effects. I've put it off for this long, but they don't want to put it off any longer. I've had cervical cancer in the past, and I guess they don't want to take any chances. It's hereditary. Three of my first cousins on my mom's side had hysterectomies by the time they were 21. So, I'm greatful that mine has never gone that far. I'm still scared, though. I will post when I can on Monday to let you know how it all went.

Good Morning Ladies [Big Grin]

Anita- you weren't kidding you guys have it bad!!! You all need to get better and not pass it around to each other.. I hope you all start to feel better!!!! Poor thing!

Krys- Sorry the appointment didn't go so well~ I would have been screaming while I was there asking for a supervisor or manager... Didn't the Dr. have to come in to review the films and look at the baby? I always have a tech and then the doctor will come in and review and talk to me.... Tell them you want the 3D/4D ultra sound to make it better [Big Grin] for free!!!!
I hope you are able to see what your having next time... I know I'm dying to know [Smile]
Keep us posted!!!

I didn't rent a doppler but I have heard how great they are... It would be fun because then your family could hear the heartbeat too... Does it count the beats per min for you??

Is anyone feeling any flutters like butterfly kisses yet???

Lots of Love,
Becki

Good morning all.

Lynngirl, I'm sorry about the MS. I hope you soon get some relief.

Amany4me, I got the doppler to make myself feel better too. It is a reliefto be able to hear that little HB. Although I do start to panic when this one is being a stinker and hiding and I can't find the HB.

Krys, sounds like that tech needs to concentrate on her job and do a little more thinking. I hope the next time the little one is giving you a straight shot.

Feeling about the same today. I've now developed a sinus infection...first one ever. My OB was kind enough to give me a Z-pak yesterday since my regular doctor refused to treat me because I'm pregnant. Hopefully it will kick in today, and I'll start feeling better. I got home from my dr's appt. yesterday to find DH in his second day of a fever. I hauled him into the emergency clinic kicking and screaming, to find out he has pneumonia. One of these days he'll listen to me.

Ya'll have a good day.

Hello ladies. I have not been on here in quite a while, and I apologize for that. Things have been crazy, crazy hectic. I had my sono as scheduled, and the baby looks great. My tech was part of the "B-squad" as my DH put it. She couldn't find the umbilical cord, that was first off. My little bean is less than cooperative. I'm thinking boy, and have been for a while. So is everyone else. Needless to say, my little one was hiding its parts. Legs were closed tightly together, and was mooning us. Since the tech couldn't see any parts down there, she has decifered that it's a girl. Neither DH or I believed her. She said since she doesn't see a hot dog, than it must be a girl. Whatever is what I have to say about that. I asked if she saw girl parts, and she said no, I don't see any parts, so it must be a girl. Then to top it off, she put the wrong name into the computer, and so now I have no u/s pictures in my chart. She put in a ladies name who was scheduled two hours after me. Uggghhh!!! Even the picture she gave me has the wrong name on it. All I know is that the baby's growth is right on par for how far along I am, and the heartbeat was great! When I went to my doctor's appt yesterday, I explained what happened and showed them the picture. They were flabbergasted, and couldn't believe it. They are soooo apologetic, and can't believe a mistake like that could have happened. Needless to say, the managers are involved at this point. They are going to go into the hard drive to try and fix things, but are now unsure if the whole day is messed up or not, and have a lot of work to do. From what I heard and was told, the intern is getting fired. Seems as though that whole mess could cause a malpractice suit due to damages. So to try an fix some of this mess, I am now rescheduled for another u/s this coming Monday with a qualified tech. So we should find out then if the little booger cooperates. Oh, and I now have gestational diabetes. Not a surprise, I had it with my last one.
On another note, I am so sorry to all who have had losses--prayers are with you and your families.
And to those who are new, congrats and praying for you as well.
